I am a SwitchBot user and I find it really useful as I do not need to dabble with rewiring of switches considering that I have colour deficiency. Great idea! I can use switchbot to cook rice for my family before we reach home. I can start preparing dishes once I reach home without having to wait for rice to be cooked.

I have been searching for something similar hardware that could add on that smart “touch” to my existing rented room. Has been using device that could control AC while I am out. I think this will be really useful for me especially if you have individual switches that you would like to automate yet you do not need to change the whole switch. It is safe and fuss-free! Planning to use it for my heater since it is a storage heater and will take a while to get the hot water. Before leaving home or after returning from home, I will be able to automate or wirelessly turn on the switch and get a warm shower easily!

Awesome! I've been trying to find practical smart home solutions for a long while, and you've made it so much easier with your videos. Easy to understand and segmented into various sections. Really helpful. Keep up your good work :) This Switchbot will be the answer to that part in my home to switch on/off the water heater that result in water leaking from the by-pass hole in the wall when the heaters are turned on for too long. No more flooding toilet floors, and saves water! Would love to have them :P

Started watching your videos after selecting my BTO flat while pursuing my masters at the mean time. I have to say, your videos are very knowledgable and useful for young couples like us! Keep up the good content :) Coming back to switch bot, my course requires me to do coding that requires heavy GPU usage for AI model training and because my laptop is dying, it can only be done with my desktop at home. Thanks to this video, i realise that i can acutallly use swtich bot as an alternative to turn on/off my computer without asking my mum to turn on when im in school ( She gets angry sometimes when i keep asking her to restart/on HAHA). I really hope to be able to get the switchbot! In my current flat, I did not do smart switches for my bomb shelter and my cooker hood switch, and I really regret it.. I hope I can get the switchbot to plug the gap in my smarthome.. and the best thing is.. with the hub provided.. I can use it to switch on the TV and aircon as well! What a great product!

i didn't do for bomb shelter as well haha, seldom go in anyway and the space is so small. Hob and hood cannot use normal smart switch, so a not many choices for that as well
