Adam NotTelling Can't agree there, all of the Chihuahuas I've seen and met have invariably been smarter than most dogs. Yes they can be protective and even quite bad tempered, especially if they aren't socialised well. I might be off the mark a bit here but this dog's reaction appears to be more fearful and defensive than anything else.

For my personal experience with my chihuahua, she's really annoying and extremely agressive to strangers, but with me she's totally different, she has never made me something like this, we sleep together and spend a lot of time playing and cuddling, I guess she's agressive to strangers because she's super overprotective and thinks I'm from her property xD

Chihuahua used to be kept as watch dogs 100s of years ago and protected tribes. They also watched out for snakes in camps. They are amazing little things. My chi can hear the postman 3 floors down and starts barking a full 60 seconds before the letters come through the door.

There is no way that dog should be allowed to behave that way. It wouldn't be tolerated in a bigger dog. I have a Chihuahua who has been trained to not behave in such a manner. This is why a lot of people have bad opinions of Chihuahuas. People think it's "cute" when they are little that they behave that way, then later on--not so cute any more. Teach your dog to behave. He isn't a "bit crabby", it's either aggression or fear aggression, and then you make it worse by teasing him with your hand. Not cool.

Tiny had die about 4 years ago due from old age and blood loss I know why because the child you see there is me when I was 3 years old and Tiny was Trained just vary aggressive to people that he dose not know Dory is still alive and has 2 puppies now one is female and one is male Tiny was burned to ashes for my grandfather to keep because Tiny never was aggressive to him for those who are hating please stop because I had to live with Tiny until he die and it was vary upsetting to see him leave my grandfather.
