Like Paul McCartney, Tim loved the sound of the crooners of the 20s. Both did excellent songs in that style. You gave me the answer and when I'm 64 are two of McCartneys tunes in thst style. Almost all of Tim's were.

What a performer Tim was. He was paraded around as a kind of freak show and, for that matter, he was fully complicit in that. But he was an artist-entertainer through and through. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of early 20th century pop music. He loved hockey and baseball. He was pretty conservative, actually. I really believe that when he sang in his mind it was the most lovely crooning. He knew people were laughing and I'm sure he endured a lot of ridicule, but he followed his muse all his days. He was such a sweet kind man. I don't like the fact that he was made out to be a freak show. He was a very talented musician and deserved way more respect than he was ever given. There will never be another Tiny Tim. ❤
