Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure - Walkthrough

Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure was the first Tiny Toon Adventures-based game released on the Mega Drive/Genesis. It was released in 1993 and developed and published by Konami.
Buster Bunny's mission in this game is to trace down and defeat Montana Max, who has stolen and hidden some treasure as and rescue Babs Bunny. Many of foes are in the way, including Roderick Rat and Gene Splicer, who has brainwashed several of Buster's friends, including Plucky Duck, Hamton J. Pig, Dizzy Devil and Calamity Coyote. Upon defeating Gene, the helmet controlling Buster's friends will fall off and explode, leaving them dazed or to fall down in a comical fashion (in the case of Calamity Coyote).
To complete each level, Buster must find Gogo Dodo, who will allow him to enter a portal. Additionally, Buster can find portals reminiscent of the show's rainbow-coloured logo, that will take Buster into Wackyland in the form of a bonus level. Here, Buster must attempt to collect as many items as he can before touching one of the numerous Dodos that populate the level. MegaTech magazine praised the graphics and sound, many levels to explore in different landscapes such as woods and snow.

Underrated Genesis game. It's not terribly difficult, but this guy here... Damn. He flies through the game like a bat out of hell.

I really loved playing this game as a kid...didn't know there was more to it than just going left to right since there was more exits... I remember one time we were close to the end against Montana Max but I dunno if we beat him. Lol

This way of playing a game should be called "Funplay". You don't aim at the absolute fastest time like a speedrun, but it looks that you mastered the ability to go super fast and the video is very fun to watch

its weird the genesis had many games like this. The darker more contrast heavy color palette and processor choice i think had a huge impact on the library. Look at this game vs the SNES game, its slow and more "artsy" and colorful. Look at batman the animated series, same thing, SNES looks quite good, yet the genesis was much faster and was more saturated. Even original games like Rocket Knight all had this incredible speed and level design was sorta based around that. I'm sure there are other examples to I can't think of.

Are you sure about that? I know it's available on Sega consoles, but I'm 99.9% sure Konami had nothing to do with the creation of Sonic, unless they worked on one of the Game Gear games. Sega and Sonic Team did the original Sonic games themselves.

Marc Moore Well, it's a 2-D platformer where your character gains momentum and speed as he moves. But that's really where the similarities end in terms of gameplay. I'd say it actually borrows quite a bit from Super Mario World, too. It's a pretty fun game.
