The original 1990 version of Tiny Toon Adventures is something I can always come back to, and for good reasons; it was the show that started a revolution in animated series created by Steven Spielberg, and animated series for Warner Bros. in general. It breathed new life into the Looney Tunes franchise by having the Looney Tunes themselves teach their junior counterparts to be professional cartoon stars like them. Characters like Elmyra Duff, Montana Max, and Furrball all ended up being very different from their respective Looney Tunes counterparts, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, and Sylvester. The show received plenty of merchandise during its run such as plush toys from Playskool, race cars from McDonald's Happy Meals, video games for the NES, SNES, Game Boy, and Sega Genesis from Konami, and a series of children's books from Little Golden Books. The Tiny Toons are making a comeback this year in the Tiny Toons Looniversity reboot, which I want to be optimistic for, but I doubt it'll have the same level of success as its parent series.
