The river that runs through Bilbao, the Nervion seems like the prefect location to practice things like rowing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, and also dragon-boat racing, it would be almost ironic, magical to see people making a splash in the Basque Country, any "watercraft" can be kept in some old warehouses near the river.

Bilbao's history begun years before Don Diego López de Haro, a Lord of Biscay, gave to Bilbao the title of Villa IN THE YEAR 1300. So Bilbao existed before the XIV (fourteenth) century. It's kind of sad see Puppy ( 18:30 ) just in green when he is use to wear flowers in all colors. Thanks for the video, I hope you enjoyed the visit! Everybody is welcome to Bilbao! Edit: almost every restaurant offers from M to F a set menu or daily menu (menú del día) consisting in 2 main dishes (you can chose several option in each one), desert (or coffee or tea), bread and drinking. Prices start from 12 € to 16 € wich is great for workers with a limited time for lunch at home or an excuse to date friends.

Thanks, I wish we could travel to Bilbao again to make a more in-depth episode of that old town. Not sure when that's gonna happen.

NONE of the dishes of that lunch was actually BASQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the history of the city started much earlier ... in 1300 A.D it had already been chartered. This fellow knows nothing about my home town.
