I am a 56yr old latina nurse and I live in an RV like yours but I have a full kitchen and bathroom. I now the hassle of lowering everything before folding up the camper. I have solar generators that I use and I love the freedom of living in the camper. I bought 10 acres of land 2 yrs ago near Yosemite. I live in my RV while I am working on building a tiny home. I am happy to see other people enjoying living in there RVs to.

You may like watching “Little House off grid”. It is the life of a senior couple that bought land and built their own tiny house. It is completely off grid. They don’t have an electric nor water bill! They have chickens and they cut up their own wood enough for 3 years of supply. Enjoy life y cuidese!

Omg; finally someone painted the inside of an A frame. They are a camper I have considered buying. But you are absolutely right; the color made the space feel some comfortable instead of that dull cream color. That would of been the first thing I would have done. I am Native American; African and Latino; so it is wonderful to see people from all walks of life enjoying the nomadic lifestyle. Awesome!

This camper is adorable! What a big difference it must’ve been from the car to the trailer. Having grown up Glamping, my question to you is, do you ever have problems with bears sniffing around? And also I would imagine it’s not that insulated, so you must be extremely hearty to have not use the air conditioner at all and rarely use the heater. Much respect. I think I’m too much of a wuss. I’m glad you’re having fun out there and meeting new people and enjoying life and finding out who you are. That’s always a good thing. Thank you for your tour

Its so intimidating and many of my family members are not very supportive but it’s something that will work for me during this part of my life.

Firstly, congratulations on following your dream!! Your set-up seems to be very well thought out and balanced to meet your needs and goals. Very manageable, yet still very comfortable and homey. Your main reason for doing this is to be able to get to know and understand yourself through solitude in beautiful outdoors locations that you love to be in. That's all good in every way, incredibly healthy actually. I'm sure your family can see the good this is doing for you. Like you said, just have good situational awareness and take all of the precautions to stay safe as a woman alone. You will meet many good people out there who you can build a "trail family" with who will enrich your outdoors adventures in lots of ways!! You are so courageous for actually blazing this trail in your life!! Thank you for sharing your story and Best Wishes for You!! 😊

Hi Luz, what a great little video on your Aliner and set up. I love that you are a young female Latina and living your dream. Yay! I'm a 72 yr old woman and lived & traveled in a van for a year and half waaay before "van life" was van life. Drove my poor mama nuts, though my dad was so proud of me. All your suggestions were great- I'm now looking at buying a Ranger 10 Aliner and just bought an Outback to pull one! Again, thanks so much. Wishing you all the best in your travels!

Since the pandemic, I have lived in an rv, toy hauler and a Ram truck, I am going to get me a little trailer like this and put it on familys land. I know the troubles but I also know how blissful this life can be. Stay safe, see you around maybe, God Bless ✌️🦋

I had an Airliner classic when I first started towing a tiny RV. I never lived in it like you do. I belong to a national group of Women Campers who started out with Aliners and then switched to whatever. I ended up with an R pod. There are a couple Facebook pages which you have probably found for Aliner campers. I’m too old now, 80 years old with health problems, to keep on doing RV camping. Although I do still camp with a tent or a tiny one unit cabin. Keep doing what you’re doing because you apparently love it and it’s successful for you. I’m glad you have a supportive family and you’re very smart to start a Latinx group. Good luck with everything you’re doing.

As long as you keep your eyes open and be careful meeting new people. Remember they are first, "strangers". Follow your gut feelings, (instincts,) & that will keep you safe. nI think that it is great that you have your dog with you for company and for protection. Thank you for your video! I am a female who has a Subaru Forester and I have been looking high and low for a camper light enough to pull behind it. I have looked at this trailer on-line, but it is really nice to see someone with "stuff" in it and being able to use an electric/solar generator and a 2 burner camp stove. Exactly what I have planned to do. I love the idea of painting the inside! It looks really lovely ;o) I have a suggestion to keep the heat from coming in via the windows: The double sided foil insulation is supposed to deflect the sunlight really well. I have seen many people use velcro to put it up, but the bubble windows shades would probably hold it in just fine. You can use the ones that fold up like a fan and are meant to put in a car window...just cut out the size you need and glue a border on it, or use some pretty cloth to cover the side which is inside and make it like a picture. This stuff can also make your bed several degrees warmer on a cold day, when placed under your bed linens (Silver side up). I also saw someone suggest a dog gel pad which helps cool 5-10 degrees and she uses one for her and one for her dog (Coleman Comfort Cooling Gel Pet Pad - on Amazon). Maybe one day we will cross paths and if we do I would be honored to visit with you and compare ideas...

We have a Rockwood A-frame trailer. It has a heat pump for the AC, so no unit on the roof. This means rhat we can keep our trailer in our garage and avoid storage fees. Ours is about 1800 lbs and longer. We bought a metal shelf unit from the Container Store that has drawers that pull out. It sits on a counter space. My husband also made two bars out of PVC that attach to the sides of the trailer--great for hanging up clothes. This also makes the trailer stronger in case you have a high wind. There is a national A-liner group, I think. By attending their conference, you would find even more great ideas. BTW, we did find that you really need to make your trailer level before flipping it up. We use an Anderson leveler for one wheel and we have levels (with the bubbles) attached to three of the sides. A Casita would be easier in this regard, but we can't get that in our garage.

For taller people, the A-frame trailers that have the dormer that folds up on the front would probably work better. Of course, these will be heavier and longer. I am "vertically challenged" so our smaller Rockwood A-frame is fine, but my husband has mentioned several times he would have liked more vertical space. We do put down the table to use as a second bed, so it gets cramped right next to the wall. My husband is about 5'9" so medium height.

This maybe a bit rich coming from an Indian; the lady is no different from what I would imagine any random American lady would be. The woman of colour bit was thrown as if it has the same weight as it had a few years ago. I genuinely appreciate the way she uses phrases from her mother tongue, honestly! I just come here to get inspired and informed about living on the go on various creative rigs. Each has their own compromises and surprises. I love it. I have begun to detest the American internet due to this overly political language and group-think. Otherwise and awesome video. Huh! It did get me to comment after being subscribed for about a year and a bit.

I chase the cooler weather so Milo stays in the car when I'm shopping, i avoid the heat at all costs! I have a ball lock and lock the hitch. i would also recommend a boot to lock up your wheel but I haven't gotten that yet, haven't felt the need for extra security.

Oops..this might be a duplicate. Really like your little home on wheels....like that it can be left behind...but yet dont like that you can't leave quickly....what a conundrum😆...but it's what works for you....definitely need the traveling companion🤗...good company, and extra safety even if he's friendly. A good bark can deter unwanted visitors. Good luck and safe travels young lady!🙋‍♀️🐕🐕‍🦺

I like the rig, but it’s too small for me. I like the A frame concept, lightweight, compact when folded up, but I also like to have a bathroom which would be a wet bath in the slightly larger A-Liner LXE. But, I am also looking at other types of campers and mobile homes too. And it looks like the young woman in the video has it all under control…..
