The crow pieces are so beautiful and cool! They feel all very relaxing. I would say my favorites are treasure in boredom and treasure in failure. I did not get the pencil reference untill you explained it.

I'm a little late to the party, but I just got time to catch up on my youtube stuff. Considering I got the first painting, all of those resonated with me. (It arrived fine btw :3 It's above my desk now). I love this concept so much as I am a firm believe that light can be found anywhere if you're willing to look and sometimes even dig for it.

Beautiful Melissa! May I ask, when you outline with your liner brush, are you using dark watercolour or an ink? You make lovely soft outlines I’d like to try…. Thanks 🤓

Hey Sam!! Ooh, ink is a good idea actually, I might try that... I've been using the watercolor, and a lot of Payne's grey in particular. Faryn Hughes on instagram is even better to check out!! It looks like she uses matching colors which looks really good. I hope to be that level of precise someday 😅

Thanks for the tip! I’ve been using ink or coloured pencil for outlines so far, looking forward to trying this! Loving the crows!😊
