Still low compared to other operating systems like Tiny11 or Ghost Spectre, but not by half, as seen in this video! To be fair, dragging large files to a desktop and back into file explorer is way more dependent on your SSD/HDD than it is windows.

Yes. As well as internet speed test is dependent more on the wifi card and internet connection. But.... because there's always a but... the tests are done on the same device.. same drive.. same partition... same USB and same folder.... with the same files. If it would have been ssd only then it should be the same speed.

Loo you have to use some apps to try those... You can even save space too.. revi os surely better than tiny 11... Revi os will startup better if he use revi tools to optimize startup.. seems he didn't used it

You don't get it. The tests are done bare... as it comes. No tweaks or optimizations. For the Ghost spectre test I haven't used the ghost toolbox either. It's the only fair way to test the difference

the geekbench score for ReviOS is 1/2 of Tiny11, makes me wonder if there is a power setting difference or missing drivers or intel chipset drivers... that should not be possible unless something is missing or turned off.

I'm wondering even now why that difference. I would understand 5%, 10%, heck even 20%. But double? Especially that all the other testes were not far off each other... usually with revios leading. Idk, but everything was the same in both cases. I followed all the steps 5he same, and besides Chrome, Davinci Resolve and Nvidia driver, I haven't installed in both systems

@@TheArtmann the only thing left out is if there is a specific profile setup within the BIOS. it really doesn't make sense, how can be it faster yet report 1/2 the performance. and then report the correct performance on the same or identical system. it can't. I mean your comparison is pretty detailed, but that one odd-ball shouldn't happen unless something isn't actually the same

that's not the issue. the issue is both were tested identically (4 different times in Tiny11's case, with the same result). which means both of them haven't recieved any updates at the times of the testing. And MOST IMPORTANTLY.. a thing that nobody seems to understand, if you update a Lite OS then you better switch to regular Windows. Because a updated Lite Windows is ni "Lite" anymore.. is just windows. I really don't understand why nobody gets this and everyone asks about updating. That's useless

In order to keep the tests as similar as possible, I haven't installed anything except what you see in the video. Chrome and DaVinci resolve, so no drivers or software of any kind. I was not searching for the best benchmark score I could get, but the difference between the two. Even though I have to say I was confused by the scores as well. geekbench cpu shows Tiny11 doubling compared to Revi, but then every other test.. render.. transfer.. boot.. installing.. shows Revi doing better. Then again, benchmakrs are not the ideal testing measures either.

I wouldn't recommend any windows 10 for them. Best is to use windows 8.1 or windows 7. If you want windows 10 then use tiny10 and not tiny11.

On the duration of the testings I had no issues with none of them. Of course, some bugs can be noticed after days of use, while I tested a system in one day... except Spectre. I've used spectre for almost 6 months and i never had a roblem with it.
