@@arianaraquel1958 I believe most of these channels describe tiny houses to be less than 500 square feet (most tiny houses on wheels are 100 sq ft or less). Amusing to me, there is a category slightly bigger; "small house", which is usually 500 to 1000 sq ft.)

@@therealgaberyan yeah but trailers are like 2x bigger and they have way miore room. my old trainer home which was a double wide, housed up to 20 people at one point. i have 7 brothers, my stepdad, and all sorts of my brothers girlfriends and kids. so it was insane back then. and to think we downgraded to some POS house thats been in my moms side of the family, just because we had some issues with pipes freezing. its been 10 years. and that problem is now happening on this 100 year old house

Jason Mitchell I come from a middle class family, nice home, good school, and we had a caravan for holidays. I loved it! Best part of my childhood. My brothers and I still say that if we lost everything we’d just go live in a van and still be happy. 😃

@@ChillingCap mine is that age too,,,,get one of those square space heaters that blows the hot air onto the pipe,,, get one that turns off when it reaches like 65 degrees,, (something like that),,, i got one at a discount store for like $10. it uses electric but it worked. last year we kept it on the incoming water pipe all winter,, Also get one of those gas filled radiators that you plug in, keep that on all winter on like medium. Cover up the basement windows with insulation,, and bubble wrap and even alot of blankets and tape a big plastic trash bag over it. (the old frames and windows leak air,,, so try and get an old wool blanket, those work),, its just how old houses were made,,, this house used to be heated by a coal stove in the basement,,, yep coal.

I have seen many beautiful tiny homes that are much much less expensive. You can even make this same house for A LOT less. They were just able to afford more expensive and pricey features. There are way to cut corners if you really want a tiny home.

I’m just waiting for there to be many tiny homes everywhere, so that when the rich want to upgrade or move on, they’ll be used, old, outdated tiny homes ready for me.its still too trendy and new right now, I gotta wait. I’m picturing being an old lady and just being perfectly content and worry free in my tiny house living my senior life in style 😉🤔💕

Love the outdoor furniture inside the house....all the comfort, none of the bulk of indoor furniture, so essential when working in such a small space. Love the proximity to the river and their big deck spaces, too.

Aesthetically this is one of the nicest homes. It’s clean, neutral, contemporary, but I am sure because it’s a vacation home and not the main home that’s a huge reason why it’s so sleek.

Beautiful home from start to finish! I love how simple the furniture and general feel of the home is. Clearly very conscious with their design and building choices. Breath taking views as well, a 5 star house. Bravo!
I love this tiny house, love the muted colour scheme and light wood and 3 bedrooms rocks!! I love the sliding pocket doors, such a great idea and you get privacy. The only thing I would have done differently is I would have gone for an ottoman bed to get easy access to the storage in the main bedroom, but apart from that, it is fabulous! Can't believe this is your weekend home, I'd want to live in it permanently.

At 6:14 he said “all of our cabinets are ___. Which means they are totally legal to tow.” talking about the counters in the kitchen. I couldn’t understand/hear what he called them. I’m also curious about the legal aspect. Are you not allowed to have certain cabinets/counters?

They are click-lock cabinet doors, where in some states it is legal to occupy a travel trailer or fifth-wheel while in-tow, so I am assuming while doing so you don't get caught up in the standard surface mounted cabinet door handles, I assume anyway,

We really love the design of this tiny home especially the bedroom downstairs. This couple did a great job on designing. We know they have a septic tank but what about electricity and water.

This is beautiful. I guess they don't worry about bugs coming in. I would think they would need screens for those beautiful glass doors. That extra storage is really nice. I didn't see a lot of storage for clothes etc in the house. Please don't get me wrong it is really nice.

It would be amazing to have a track attached above the doors that open on to the decks because you could slide in an awning with poles that could be attached to the outside of the house or into slots in the deck. This would allow you to enjoy the outside while protecting you from the sun and reducing the amount heat coming from the big glass doors in the hot summer months. It would allow you to enter and exit without getting wet when it rains.

Am gonna do something like this in the next few years, thinking shipping container, probably 2 together. It won't be as cheap as it seems; lots of extra expenses - but still substantially cheaper than a house, mortgage, etc. For me, it's really an answer.

Nice!! U could take single chair 2 put at end seat next or facing against sofa and wola! Single bed! lay back cushions down on top of seat cushions gives extra sleep padding if preferred.🙋
