I like how she approached this. Buy the best RV you can afford then upgrade as you can afford it. Also that she planned ahead by working remotely. Love her RV.

Great example of someone taking control of their life, and choosing happiness over money. While I'm probably 20 years+ older than her, I am about to embark on the same journey in a few years. Once my son, who is now 15, graduates high school, I will be traveling and working remotely in a converted shuttle bus. She is an amazing young lady!

Just a word on happiness, I learned that the feeling of happiness is a reward system of the brain when it perceives that you are making progress towards valued goals. This also makes sense why achieving things (new house, car, marriage etc) doesn't produce happiness for very long after it was obtained, you actually have to keep moving forward towards more valued goals. I think this is lifechanging so I thought I would spread the word.

@@cjmatthews8636 You're welcome, I've definitely found it to be true in my life, when my life is stagnant is when I'm least happy, but when I feel like I'm progressing I feel very good. Also, it seems there are iterative goals that produce ongoing happiness, an example would be intimate connection with your partner, as long as you continually maintenance this value it seems to continue to reward you for it (My grandparents proved this point to me with their relationship). Anyways, cheers mate.

Indont understand why these RV companies don't start decorating the new RV's like this. Most people renovating paint white or lite colors and make more comfortable spaces. You'd think they'd get the hint and stop always making RV's so dark and closed in. Makes sense to me.

That is not true. It is very expensive to live off grid. You either buy gas for a generator, or buy or chop tons of firewood, haul water in or mug water from some creek.

She's just not doing it the way many of us are, in a brick and mortar building. Frankly, her lifestyle is not for me but she's enjoying it at this stage in her life and good for her. She's making money to pay for her needs and wants, to pay for any bills that arise. How is she being a vagabond, in the negative way you mean it??? Perhaps you need a nice hot shower with lavender scented or eucalyptus and spearmint scented body wash, to be followed by a lovely cup of tea or cocoa ( ya think???).

Great Job on the motorhome. I hate the faux wood look in most RV's but love how you painted it out.. if you are ever near Ikea you can get a fantastic roasting pan small enough to fit that oven. (and cheap too). I bought one for our motor home then bought a second as they are so useful.

In my area rent for a studio or 1 bdrm cheapest is 800 plus utilities. So, if you spend 800 on gas, that's a step ahead of renting plus I get to travel

i agree. i had to convert the mpg to km/l and i nearly had a heart attack when i saw the outcome. she's only getting 3,5 km per liter!!!! thats rounding UP!! and to think it was even worse before... good grief. I'd already be unhappy if i went under 15 mpg.

Great remodel. Can’t say I could dig the frequent use of a generator. But the rest of the set up is pretty sweet. Nice that she can power everything off such a small source. As for small baking pans, check our Dollar Tree. They have a round, square and loaf pan that should work fine. Surprised to hear she was unable to find a pan that would fit as big as the oven is. All in all, good move sister. Enough $$ to buy groceries, fill the gas tank, buy cat litter (you have to keep the bosses happy. Don’t want to wake up at 3AM getting the kitty stink eye cuz you couldn’t afford cat litter). Love your professional wardrobe. Dressed up from the waist up. Smart move!!
