This is so wonderful. I keep thinking of miracle kitten Cassidy Puffs. He was nine weeks old when he was found and missing both back legs below the knees. Cats are amazing.

There is a gorilla in a zoo right now that takes in adoptive babies who aren’t accepted by their moms. She’s 50 and started lactating for the last 2 she took care of. Animals are capable of amazing and great things that can never be explained.

Aww.. you did a mention a “raccoon.” A few years back, there was a mama raccoon over here that adopted a kitten into her litter. The kitten went everywhere with them. Even climbed up the trees with them. Maybe that’s what happened with this little guy

He is amazingly friendly for a no one's kitten, but that may be something in his personality and being a loner as Shelly says. May also be something to do with the way the farm is run. Another feral rescue I watch has recently taken in kittens from a farm, and they are very, very feral and fierce.

And if the cat hides under a wheel you will not even see it when you drive out. And they drive out often. I would not want to risk that.
