Just came across this video because I'm thinking about building my own camper as a full-time live in and I normally wouldn't watch a video this long either, but the way he presented the video, explained in detail the things that most people just breeze over makes you realize that this man knows what he's talking about and isn't afraid to share his experiences! As a single (by choice, lol), 47-year-old woman, I can honestly say, that I appreciate the time and patience that he put into doing this video! I just hope that when I go to build my camper that it will look as good as this one, I doubt it but one can still hope! LOL! 😂😂 Sir, you have done one heck of a job on the camper and with this video, not only will I save this video but I am going to subscribe to your channel!

Put the Roberts glue on with a notch trowel just get the small notches. I’m a professional flooring guy of 20 years. Or since you are using light weight material back stick ie. spray tack glue would work very well. Also. At windows you could turn and track material for a truly flawless look, but this will take some learning and practice on the part of the installer. Hope this helps with some options for the opinion of a professional. Good luck and happy building!!!

I have watched over 50 build videos for trailers. Sir, you have done an excellent job. Yes, there are things I would have done a little different (personal taste items mostly like tail light choice), but you have done a very good job for those that have little experience building projects like this. I have over 25+ years in cabinet and c/top industry, kitchen remodeling, and that includes electrical, plumbing, drywall and etc. I have managed shops for most of the time, my point being... I have seen, trained, and LEARNED a lot from a bunch of people during those years and I got to say, you did a great job teaching and building this trailer. Most people watching this with little experience could build themselves one of these and turn out a nice unit. Lastly, I have prototyped several different designs and I love how much time can go into designing so you don't paint yourself into a corner so to speak.... "more thought to, less ought to." I wish I had $250,000 and 6 people like you working for me as "we" could make a lot of nice trailers, make a lot of customers/employees/stockholders very happy!!! Again, GREAT JOB!!!

Anyone who doesn't know Kevin, this stuff was in him as a kid. Him and his brothers turned the attic of their small garage into a 3 room clubhouse. Kevin went from that to building wooden go-karts. Sometime after those days we lost touch but would see each there in passing at school. I watch Kevin's videos about his campers and think about those days as kids. He thought of everything then and I see that attention to detail still exists in him today.... wow is he good. Anyone looking for one of these campers, would be extremely happy by doing business with Kevin. His name and reputation goes into every build. He floats and Old Town canoe. May you can sleep in an "Out of Town" camper. I just made that up. Good job Kevin. Maybe sometime our paths will cross at the tractor supply. Saw you one day but figured u wouldn't remember me...

Just a quick note. I also used that hook system and folding leg for my table years ago, it is not the best system. The hooks had to be mounted as wide as possible or the table will tip if you rest on it and if you accidently nudge the table getting in or out the hooks come out and table collapses, not good.

nice vid, I learned a lot and planned to change some things I had planned for my own build. I would like to suggest you ditch the black drywall screws on all future builds. The metal is not appropriate and they are prone to shear and break easily in structural applications. I think I understand and agree with your justification that they easily drive their heads flush with the neck they provide, but there are deck and other structural screws with a similar shape that drive flush just as easily. They cost a lot more per screw, but they are still a very small percentage of the total build costs. You can perform your own breakage tests if you'd like to prove it to yourself. Happy building!

Hi I have gone to a 33' class A to a 16 and 25 foot travel trailers and I am now ready to downsize again. I want a micro camper because you can always get into a tent space at state campgrounds as travel trailer space is limited and you have to make plans months or even a year in advance for reservations. We love the beach and that makes it even harder as so few state parks have ocean front camping. My problem is this and if anyone can tell me how I can find space for a porta potty for that night time call in a micro camper. When I find the right design I will confront my wife. Thanks

Hey Kevin would it be more lighter and rust resistant if the trailer were aluminum. Furthermore, your attention to detail in conducting this mobile project is impressive.
