thank you, that solved a problem I had with multiple layers that had some camera tracking and had to affect a single layer. The tip by the end of the video using a shape worked perfectly :)

Doesn't work for me, AE 2020, when I apply more than one set matte they eliminate each other, any way to fix?

Привет! Спасибо за технику, очень полезно! У тебя описан случай, когда два маскирующих слоя не пересекаются между собой. В моем случае - мне надо на черный солид/шейп "Тень от руки" положить две маски - плечо и предплечье (чтоб потом использовать этот солид как тень на теле от полной руки). На солид я применил set Matte с источником Плечо и set Matte с источником Предплечье. Но вот незадача - так как плечо и предплечье пересекаются в локте - оба set Matte проявляют солид ТОЛЬКО там, где пересекаются Плечо и Предплечье = в данном случае - в локте. Пожалуйста, помоги? Как сделать так, чтоб две части одной руки полностью маскировали собой солид-тень?

Plz be clear in the title that a plugin/script is needed, the title sounds like your teaching something purely after effects as theres no mention that a possibly paid or something script is required for this tut. Im your subscriber but i would prefer to save time and steer clear of these videos which promise something and then say you need a plugin to do it.
