Tip 2 Finding a stone count when it's not available using the Silhouette program.

This video will show you how to find the stone count for a design. This method can be used when a design is made using a rhinestone font or if the design was not made the traditional way by using the rhinestone fill feature.

Great tutorial. I wish I had it last week when I was trying to figure it out because it would have saved me a lot of time because I forgot to write down the stone amounts in my design and when I went back to Silhouette the stone count wasn’t there. 😁 I had finally figured it but this would have made it much quicker. 👍

Thanks for the video and nice to learn another way of getting the stone count after releasing compound path. After I release compound path, I select the color or stones I need the count for then double-click. The point editing box opens and the number listed as "Contours" is the number of stones for that color/stones I selected. Tracey

Thanks for the tip. I tried it and the Point Editing box did pop up but I don't see anything that says "Contours". Where would I be looking for that?

@@myfileaddiction bummer and that is very strange! I am using version 4.5.180 so wondering if it's only available in certain versions.

@@TYJ419 Could be. I had to go back to version 4.4.895 in order to get the measurement boxes back in the Advanced Replicate section that I used in my Tip #1 video. When I upgraded to your version I lost those. Oh well maybe someday there will be a version available without any bugs. LOL
