there's got to be a rubber bumper for the kickstand to hit. Honda would never let the kickstand hit the muffler cover like that. Something else for you to add.

Hi, Chipper, I checked and I had put the rubber on for the kickstand. That was after I did the video. I had it off when I took the exhaust off to clean it. WOW we got 6" of snow today ! Can't wait till summer. Norman.

Hi Stephen, Thank you so much for your great comment. I know I am going have a fantastic day. I hope you have one too. By the way how tall are you? Are you looking for a Honda ST 1100?.

@@2001himax if I was sir, I would have yours in a heartbeat. Had one years ago, loved it but too heavy and too awkward to move around my shed and pathway.

@@stephenwoods4175 I know what you mean. I am going to be careful and see how it goes. If I find it's not working out I will sell it. I watch some videos on short people riding tall bikes. I find if I take hold of the handlebar in one hand and put the other hand on the back handle for the passenger and stay on the side with the kick stand it's not so bad. I keep the bike leaning a tad towards me so I can put it onto the kickstand if need be. Also if it feels like it is going to lean to the right , with my hands where they are, I can pull harder towards me than if I had both hands on the handlebars. I have to have the bike all most straight up to have it off the kickstand and watch the stand doesn't go up as I move the bike forward. Thank you for your comment. Norman.

Not sure if its on my end or not but the last year or better the volume and clarity is beyond recognition. Very hard to understand.

Hi Jeff, I noticed it. I believe it's my end. I will try my other Go-Pro or look into my editor. I will make some short videos , not for posting, but to see how they sound on my laptop. I will try to solve this problem. I did take the one Go-pro back to factory settings. Have to try it. I may order another mic. It seems to have to much base. Ride safe. Norman. Thank you for your input.

Does the bike fit you? Sorry the accident happened. Honda kickstands are weird some times my ctx leans over way to far. Great you have the skills to make the mod. Happy 4th. Interesting vid.

Hi Robert, With the mods and thick sole boots I can ride fine. I made the shifter peg longer that was too short so now I don't have to turn my foot inward to shift. I can put both feet on the ground. When I had the tip over I was sick and week. Now that I got my strength back I can handle the bike. Shaving the seat made a world of difference. Rebuilding the carbs, No more leaking fuel. I knew when I first looked at the bike it needed a lot of work. It was worth it. Ride safe. Norman.

Ya keep futzin with that Hoover-Honda...sell it!
@SinnerSince19622 жыл бұрын
That's a good one, JB! That Hoover-Honda is one of the best bikes on the road today, even at 29 plus years old. Norman could jump on that thing and go anywhere in the nation without a second thought.
