Tippy is a solid bredren whose genius knows no bounds. I-Grade changed the reggae soundscape with his early Midnite productions and is a key element of the best roots reggae production team in the world today, Zion I Kings. I've reasoned with Tippy and he has shared valuable insight into the legend of Vaughn Benjamin and the way in which Vaughn impacted him personally as a friend, mentor, and spiritua guide. Can't heap enuff praise upon this brilliant individual.

We are just into the story and it's already a rollercoaster of interesting observations and serial achievements. He also seems kind and generous. Looking forward to the next part.

About time, probably one of the best reggae producers. I want him to produce Steel Pulse's next album. I like how these interviews aren't one dimensional, this one shows how rounded Tippy is and I can see how this affects the music. Like he said there's levels to this.

Lovely interview… I can feel the excitement in landing such an interview. In the reggae world, a sit down with Tippy is top tier. Just one small critique… a little patience with questioning, the questions came in like rapid fire, allowing the interviewee the time to express the length and breath of their experience as a listener is what I am most interested in, there were too many interruptions brother. Give thanks for the this content.

True he was rapid fire with questioning...but you can sense his excitement and genuine interest and he asked very intelligent questions. Tippy was not thrown off...he treated it more like a conversation with a friend. Rarely have I enjoyed an interview as much as I did this one.

I met him in Brooklyn around 2011. He said Ras Mek Peace cost a little more than the rest of the Midnite albums.
