Best video ever!!!! You’ve inspired me to help my husband. He just had a small topper put in 2 weeks ago. He kept his natural hair life. But you’ve shown us that you get a full piece and not see the hair line. You’re a GREAT teacher and I’m a good student!!! Now just to find a barber. If you were near me , I’d have you cut it!!!!! Rick I had no idea you are a Barber! I am as well as why my father for 60 years! He lost all his hair cutting everyone else’s and I know if they had a system like this back then he wouldn’t have been the bald barber . I am new to the installation of hair pieces but so far my clients have gained back their confidence. Thank you for all your tutorials…they literally saved me!

Rick, What’s your opinion on the new M111XT ? It’s 2-3 mil and light density. Was think about trying one. I have always ordered the M111HD .

Great video, great hair!! I wish my Hd111's hairline density was consistent across the front like yours. My experience is that it's more sparse right in the front-middle, which is frustrating because I can't get the same great front comb back as you, in that it's too darn thin. A little self conscience about it, especially in the sun.

Thanks so much! I would ask Superhairpieces about the front hairline. I have one occasionally that seems thinner at the front as well. I actually don’t mind it because most natural hairline are the same way. I just make sure to cut off all the front edge “skin” right up to the hairline and I’m happy. Talk to them though.

I thought about it a lot. I researched it....I finally decided to do it and actually found a salon that deals with it. The mold of my head was made. Hair samples were taken and now I'm waiting for my system to arrive. I'm not doing it alone. I was very fortunate to find a place to help me through the process but I only found someone after moving to my new place in another state.....now i have to figure out if i want to wear ut during the day snd take it off at night or have it bonded to my head for a month. I ordered both the bonded kind and the daily wearing kind.

My problem has been finding someone who will cut the hair system the first time. So I end3 up going to a local hair replacement studio. That was expensive. After going there and after several styling visits, I asked about cut ins on systems I bought on my own. They said they would do a cut in fir $150. So my friends, $900 for a locally supplied system or $199 for an hd-111 plus $150 cut in. You do the math.

Great video! Just one question, Rick how long does a system last with you ?? I see the HD111 is costing approx 200 EUR with a ''disposable'' lifespan of only 4 weeks ?

4 weeks is generally the lifespan of the HD111, that is correct. You can get up to 1.5 months or 2 months with proper maintenance and taking extremely good care of it, but because of how thin the system is to get its natural look, it isn't a very durable system. If you want something that lasts a bit longer there are other base options out there that can do so!

Can you run your hands through the hair and feel the base on the HD111? If so is there a thinner base that is basically undetectable not only by the looks of it but also by running your hands through it while it is installed?

is ricks hair system predominantly synthetic hair due to the grey color? what ratio/percentage of the system is synthetic / natural?

The amount of grey Rick's system has depends on the main color of the system. He doesn't always get the same color, so generally the darker the main color, the more grey percent he will get. This is usually synthetic hair. Usually it's betweem 40-60%, but he goes outside of that range too!

Hello, how long is the service life of the HD111? It says on the site for 1 month, does it become garbage after 1 month?

One month is generally the expected lifespan for HD111, so after that you would likely need a replacement

You can raise your eyebrows and see where your forehead stops and your scalp begins fairly easy. Your forehead wrinkles up a bit, your scalp does not. Usually three fingers high from your eyebrows

Lies! It's not affordable. The nice realistic units with thin base are at least $ 250/each, and last 4 weeks tops (even superhairpieces calls them "disposable" units). Do the math. This does not include the fact that the units come in stock sizes and need to be cut down to your own personal size and shape, and attached to the scalp. Good luck finding an installer to do it for you not to mention the costs of cutting the unit to your specific size are stratospheric. In my case, my installer charges $ 225 for cutting and attaching the unit every time I need a new one not to mention she's 4 hrs away. You can certainly do it yourself and save a few hundred bucks but you will look like shit for a long long long time and thousands of dollars wasted before you finally master what these guys claim can be achieved at home for few bucks. Yes, a perfect look is attainable but be aware that comes at steep cost.

Our HD111 systems are $199. Yes there are disposable systems, but there are lace systems that can last you longer and still give you a natural look if you want something more durable :) Unfortunately we can't control the costs set by salons, but we do have tutorials for every step of the process for those that want to save money and learn to do it themselves at home!

@@Superhairpieces Thanks. I understand that. The point is that most people don't realize the steep learning curve and cost. Paying for the hair system, whether it's a disposable or a more durable one, is only about 1/4 of the total cost. Yes, you can try doing it yourself at home to save money but people won't look the best, most likely will end up ruining a hair system here and there. I think it's a better business practice to be transparent and truthful about the cons rather than throwing blanket statements claiming that it's cheap and for available for everyone. If you read below, it's not easy to find an installer, and when you find one, it will as expensive as the hair system itself each time you need a new one re-installed. That being said, your channel does a great job in educating users on how to do the most important things around a hair system. For that, I am greateful!
