Some people with the gift of teaching usually talk a lot but thanks to technology we can fast forward and others will mark it for us. 😀 and bam we just click on the 5 minute mark. Yea I think I’m finally starting to understand the grip part I kept separating into three strands but as a beginner I feel that that method is harder cause I’m just gonna braid like regular when yuh need to grip it so it looks neat lol. So I know now to just put my natural strand into the strand that’s closest to the 1/3( the 1/3 strand is what I’m holding together in my dominant hand). Interesting how I understand it but its the only way I can think of where it makes sense to me. Now I need to actually try it 😅😅.

How do you keep the same size consistency with your braids throughout your entire head ? I've struggled so much with this that I just gave up on doing box braids. I would literally do 3 braids and one would be the size I wanted while the others were a tad bit smaller then I'd just take it all down and do yarn braids lol
