I discovered the "always bet green" by accident... green is my favorite color, and when everything else is equal I'll always pick it. So, thinking it was a legit 50/50, I still always chose green and noticed hey wow that's net positive coins right there. I'll do some of the other activities at the fair to get a few starting coins, and then just keep betting on the wheel until I have 9999 lmao

Since it has a 75% chance, let's say you start with 1000 credits... Bet half on green. Win. Now you have 1500, so bet 750... win and you can get what you really need from the event. Keep betting half of what you have...it's essentially impossible to lose everything with that method. Basic casino odds principles applied.

I never go through hay that quickly because I only use the auto feed in my barns/coops during winter when the grass is gone. I usually just let my animals free range on the grass spring-fall and at the end of fall, go all over my farm and sickle all the left over grass to put into my silos. I rarely ever have to actually buy hay from Marnie

Tip regarding planting crops at the end of a season. I started doing this on purpose so I don’t have to re-hoe and water my crops on the first day of a new season. It saves so much time. (Assuming you have some gold to spare)
@david28692 жыл бұрын
That's called the "cover crop" strategy. The best cover crops are the cheap ones like parsnips and wheat, but make sure you plant them on the day before the last day (or slightly earlier, the 25th of the year is best so you can harvest them on day 1 of the next season, but this only works for wheat) so there is some green that grows. Just putting down seeds on the 28th doesn't work.
@odditynix2 жыл бұрын
This is brilliant! I have enough to do on the first of the season without fixing all the holes in my field where the grass grew back

You don't actually need a max coop and barn for the animal bundle because you can buy the items from the traveling cart but buying the max coop and barn is more reliable and also needed for the Artisan Bundle so it is generally better to buy the max coop and barn.

So, after watching your earlier video I decided to roll another toon for the umpteenth time. And I just learned something new almost 1300hrs in. Your jukebox works outside. OMG! Hey Wali, just letting you know you repeated the "keep one of everything" tip, probably just through editing multiple videos together. Great videos otherwise! Edit: Also, while eating grass outside is better for animals during most of the year, grass does not regrow during winter and therefore a silo is necessary during the winter for your animals to stay happy and continue to produce eggs, milk, etc. Therefore, you can hold off on buying a silo until late fall, then fill it as quickly as possible for the winter. Just FYI.
@Waligug2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, and yeah that is mostly it

Plus, if you want to cut grass from your farm (it grows back), you will need a silo, but one is enough.

Not sure if this is known since I'm still quite new to the game and I discovered it on my own (on PC): Bind your Check/Do Action key on your keyboard (RMB by default, I have mine on both RMB and Spacebar), hold the key down and walk through your fully produced Kegs/Furnaces/Preserve Jars. It's so much faster! You can use this method to fill them up as well. Don't use it to harvest crops though, it's faster to click your RMB.
