This is honestly one of the best videos I've seen when it comes to wearing makeup with glasses! I feel like some tutorials come from people who may not have vision issues and/or wear glasses on a regular basis, so their tips aren't as useful. This feels much more genuine.

There is no additional charge on coastal for the lenses - even prescription lenses - if you get standard lenses. They have premium options like tints and progressives, but those aren't required. I just ordered my husband a $35 frame with a $20 upgrade for glare-reducing prescription lenses, and used a coupon code to get 20% off! Because it's so cheap, I don't think they take insurance. The main and central brand Jessica mentions here has small, medium, and large options, and if you enter the measurements you want in MyFit,, the website will show you sizes that will work best for you. Thank you for making this video!! I am always telling my friends and family about coastal because it makes owning multiple pairs of glasses SO affordable. I can't imagine ever paying $500 for a pair of glasses again after discovering them! Also, I wear contacts most days, but I always struggle with what makeup to wear on my glasses days, and this helps me a ton! This is THE BEST makeup for glasses video I've ever seen!! Here's my biggest makeup with glasses issue and I've never seen anyone speak to it: the application process when you are absolutely blind. I struggle so much with decent eye looks because I can't really see what I'm doing! How do you do it?? I also end up with such a smudged mirror from using a dual-ended makeup brush and having to get so close to see. Any suggestions regarding how to see what you're applying while blind? Also where do you get the best cateye frames? That's my preferred look. I've ordered from voogueme.com, Zenni, and glassesusa. I've never ordered from coastal.com, though I've periodically looked at their site.

This is great. I have only recently started really needing reading glasses (I still have to traim myself to stop laying them down on chairs...thank god I had a couple of cheaper pairs for when I was travelling etc. I can't afford to break any more expensive frames!) This is exactly what I wanted, thanks also for the tips on buying online. I think you're right, I'm forever buying different sunglasses so why not reading glasses now that I really have to have a pair with me. Now how to find out how to see what you are doing whilst applying said makeup lol! It isn't THAT bad yet but I know its coming.....nightmare!

Like you I have like 20 pairs of glasses , I love wearing my glasses and I also love wearing my contact lenses it's either or being blind as a bat. But normally I am in my glasses so when I do my makeup I like to powder my nose both before and after my foundation and I like to press my setting spray in my beauty blender or to just spray my sponge and press it in to the bridge of my nose. On those really super hot long days when you know your going to sweat a little bit more like a really hot summer day I like to use a little bit on liquid bandage like New Skin or something right wear my glasses would sit it also helps prevent your glasses from slipping down the nose, it's also a good tip for those of us that have a very narrow bridge or a flat bridge of the nose and spend all day just pushing your glasses up from sliding to the tip of your nose. Lastly Zenni Optical is the shit I am beyond in love with that site my last order with shipping cost me $57 and I got 2 pairs of glasses to get two pairs from the local eye glass place even with my insurance I still ended up paying $150 and i got them in the mail in two weeks it took almost that long to get my glasses made in store here. With Zenni you can upload a picture try them on you input your PD size and they have all the measurements of all the frames so you can see if they will be the right size and how they will look on your face.
