@@GetALittleJacko the Google Pixel 7 Pro has an option that allows you to triple tap the back lighter or harder to activated functions such a screenshots. The lighter tap setting makes it more sensitive with the OtterBox installed.

I would say rather than turning off Animations altogether, you can simply speed them up in Developer Options. So things don't go from one screen to another so harshly. It still makes your phone feel snappy, but also still refined.

I too turned off my animation after watching this video and I felt something bugging me while using my phone. I don't think turning it off is a good option man.

Oh and my favorite feature is tapping three times on the screen to magnify the screen! Settings, accessibility, magnification, magnification shortcut. So useful!!

Also, _System > Gestures > One-Handed Mode_ which allows you to swipe down on the gesture bar at the bottom of the screen, to slide the screen contents down so you can reach items at the top of the screen.

Thanks for developer mode. Hot tip: in developer mode, change animation and transition time to 0.5. It makes everything snappier while having a bit of animation.

Currently using pixel 5a... I will never buy a pixel phone again. 1. If the phone heats up video recording quality is decreased and it shows a popup "device hot video quality may be reduced" 2. Network quality is not up to the mark 3. Charging takes more than 2 hours and it sucks 4. Dark Mode mode is really useless it is a fully greyish color... Oppo phones has really black drak mode 5. Device heats up even for normal usage..... 6. 4k 60 and 1080p 60 are terrible, it is filled with tons of noise... Jut After 60 seconds of recording there is heavy frame drop in 4k 60 recording, it is very very choppy and its looks like 24 fps... Totally unusable... Even, 4k 30 videos sometimes it is good sometimes filled with lot of noise. It is very inconsistent

Pixel 7 Series dosent heat a bit i have been using it for a while and network speeds are amazing, cant find anything to critizie it about and google constantly updates this phone in span of 3-4 days to fix all the issues, I reported one and they fixed it in 2-3 days @@jeevanandham07

You can access notification history by tapping "no notifications" as well, no need to dig into settings once it's on

I like a lot of these like the power button & double tap. I was hopeful when I saw the spot about rules. What it needs though is the means to detect when I'm driving. I'd like it to have the option to mute alerts and/or change the status in a messaging app I have to use for work.

@@JamesGadberry-cj3qs That's true, but the audio system on my car is too old to work with it. My thinking was more at the a logic level. If the phone is traveling at a speed greater than 30mph then all apps go into a DND mode. Something along those lines.

I don't mind the assistant at the power button. I mean, how often do you actually turn off or restart your phone? Not very often but the assistant?

That option serves as a NFC tap to pay in many phones. If u were to switch to a pixel from OnePlus I'd be annoyed. My OnePlus gives you Google assistant with a swipe up from the bottom corner. Super easy, but it requires hiding the power button to bring up your cards so it's also safer since it can't be done by mistake.

Double tab, but nowhere in the setting can I see double tab to turn off the device. With my Samsung, double tap on and double tap off. A missed feature on the PIXEL if you're used to that.

i like 3 button menu on my phone and in pixel 7 there is an option for that but the 3 buttons are plaved for a person who uses the phone with right hand and I am a left handed guy and for those buttons are mirrored and I can't change their location quite irritating.
