I watched your last video quite a few years ago when I started canning and just saw this one today.I enjoyed them both and really gotten into canning everything...LOL go big or go home right. I started pressure canning also and can say I think that is my favorite only to grab a few jars and have a home cooked meal in minutes. I do wished you would have given amounts but of course that's your choice most of us who can can figure it out. It's because of the time and money I wasted when I was starting out I say that and some of us don't have hand me down recipes. I do love your little tips and tricks they are helpful thank you.

Wow, I just made Jalapeno pineapple jelly today first time! How long do you think it should sit before I try it? I try not to taste things for at least 4 weeks, do you have a better suggestion? I love anything canned jarred or whatever. When I was just a kid and I'm 59 now... whaaaat whoa...lol. My girlfriend's mother canned everything I was so in love with her kitchen...... the little Italian man down the road made sauce or gravy with raisins and I swore I'd learn to make it when I grew up! I just love this and now it will always be a part of my life. Thank you so much....

Do you have to add something to your red peppers to get them to blend that smooth and liquefied. Such as do you add water. Or the real question I guess I’m asking do you freeze them and then blend. My never come out that smooth and I do have a higher end blender, but there still a thick paste rather than a soupy mix like you dumped in

Everything you make is so pretty. I'm new to your channel and new to jelly making I'm about to make my first batch. What kind of jars do you use? The only kind I can find locally are the kind where the lid is in 2 pieces and you have to do a water bath afterward. I like your way where the jars get flipped upside down. Can you please tell me what kind of jars you use and where I might purchase them from? Also, are the lids reusable? Blessings from Ontario, Canada.

As far as the jelly setting up.... "Taking up to a week". Would it help, if you placed them in a fridge after the jars have cooled, to help the jelling process, if you are in a rush?

Josette Nazaire. FALSE. Home Canning tools and containers must absolutely be sterelized in boiling water. It is not safe at all to use hot water from the tap, even for home canning. Please verify with your State department of Health and Agriculture.
@jartotable Жыл бұрын
Her hair is most always pushed back. Her hands are being constantly washed over and over again. Lids and jars no longer need to be sterilised with boiling water if the contents reach boiling point, in fact they recommend no longer doing it lids as it ruins the rubber, according to latest regulation. They just need to be clean. And lastly, how do you know whether or not she has a 5 part filtration system under her tap. That jelly is sooo hot it will burn through skin. Killing all possible bacteria it comes into contact with. Everything is up to standard. Chew on a chill pill to regulate your judgemental attitude.

i appreciate u showing this tips, however it is amiss because it is missing the MOST CRUCIAL STEP TO MAKE A SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME - CORRECT RATIO OF PECTIN SUGAR AND FRUITS. Everytime one makes it and it didnt work or set well, they will just be frustrated.

Hi Sandra, I 💕 love you! Your so nice and have such a gentle warm kind way about you, and those are qualities I love deeply! I love 🔥🥵 hot and am going to do hot blueberry jam tonight. I've got my peppers 🌶️🔥 and did some research on what part is hot. Do you have any input on this? I'm a kamikaze cook or kooky cook, I always try to fudge about with recipes the first or even second time out, and the results can make me cry 😭😢. I don't know why I'm like this but that's the way I am. My apple crisp is just getting done so I better get it out of the oven now 30 minutes exactly. Bye, I love you see you later 😘

😢I think that it’s sad that you are too cheap to share the recipe for that beautiful jelly, but you want people to order it from you. I guess that you probably think that someone would sell it, well you’re probably right but they might need the money to help them pay their bills, however, I would just like to make to eat it and share it with others to whom I would have referred you to them when asked where the recipe came from. Now what I am going to do is try to figure out how to make it myself. Thanks.
