Tips and tricks with GIMP and Inkscape

Hey just wanted to say a big thank you, I am trying my hand at mapping out some Dungeons / Towns / Buildings for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign. All of these tips for Inkscape have been immensely helpful since I am probably the worst 'artist' to date with any sort of drawing tools.

Sorry Ben, I must have missed your comment back in the time! I'm not much of an artist myself. But I think Inkscape is such a great tool! (ah, and the newer version is even more awesome!)
