Here are some additional Tips and Tricks 1. You can keep track of what you have donated to the museum by going to the critterpedia. Hover over the critter and if it shows an owl icon it means you have already donated it to the museum. This is helpful if you want to keep track of what you have/ haven't given to the museum. 2. If you shake all your nonfruit trees there will be 2 items that fall off from your trees daily. At the beginning of the game, it is good to know that from your nonfruit trees there is something you can get. Every day you will have 5 wasps on 5 different nonfruit trees and 100 bells falling from 10 nonfruit trees. 3. At the very beginning of the game when you don't have an axe you are still able to hit your rocks. Use an object(s) so you can get the most from hitting your rock. Make sure to do everything on the first day and give bugs and fish to Tom Nook to unlock other recipes (5 total for all rewards). You will unlock the flimsy axe recipe so make sure to craft it. You can use the flimsy axe to hit the rocks and get some materials early on. 4. To skip dialogue you can also press "L" which prevents you from accidentally choosing the wrong choice when talking to villagers and others. 5. To make crafting faster, you can just press "A" 3 times and no more. It is unnecessary to spam "A" repeatedly. After I recommend you press "L" to speed up the dialogue. 6. If you are alone and you are wishing on stars, there is no need to wish on a lot of them. I recommend 20 since that is the max that can show up the next day when picking up your star fragments (you can do more especially if you want to get the nook miles from wishing on stars) 7. When changing your flag with Isabelle you can use a custom design. After you change it, you do not need to keep it as a design slot unless you want to keep it for other purposes. Just ensure you first change the flag and feel free to overwrite the design where your flag design was. It will not impact the flag near your airport when you overwrite the design. 8. If you do not want to go all the way to the museum for Blathers to tell you that your painting is fake you can quickly check yourself. Just place the painting down and turn it around. Feel free to zoom in with the camera feature if you need to. If there is a little piece of paper with writing at the back of the painting, you got the real painting. 9. If you accidentally get a fake painting or statue and you do not want it, you won't be able to donate or sell it in Nooks Cranny. You can either give it away to someone or just throw things in the trash (any trash/ garbage bin can be used to throw away things you don't want in the game) 10. When you see a villager with a pop-up bubble near them it can be them wanting to move out. If you close the game before it auto-saves (every 2 minutes) it can go to another villager. You can also rewind the time back a few minutes back and it can land on another villager in case you want to kick out a villager. DO NOT always assume that a villager wants to leave. Sometimes the pop-up bubble can appear if they need help, change their nickname, catchphrase, etc.

I have a tip to get money really fast: So you have to swim in the sea and you can get pearls and they sell for 10,000 bells each. And if you get a scallop on your island give it to the otter if he shows up. He leaves you clothes but most likely he gives pearls. Remember he only comes up once a day. And another thing is that you can put on a wet suit and leave the things in your inventory on the beach. and farm for an inventory full of sea creatures! Hope that helped too

You can actually get up to 2 message in a bottle per day! They will spawn 12 hours apart normally around 6. I’m not sure how early you need to pick up the first to have the second spawn but I normally grab mine around 10-11am and then another will pop up between 6-7pm🥰

Somebody probably already mentioned it, but when digging holes for rocks I find it easiest to dig 2 holes at the 'corner' of the rock. That way I don't have to worry as much about getting pushed out of position.

Also another addition to the wasp tip: 5 wasp nests drop out of your trees a day, and they're worth a surprisingly high amount. Flick will buy EACH wasp for 3,750. That's almost 19k a day just from wasps, not to mention the other goodies you get from shaking trees anyway. Easy money ;D

You mentioned selling bugs to flick , but you can save fish and sell for a higher price to C.J. / another hint.. when you visit a mystery island You can take everything. Trees ,( including palm trees & bamboo trees ) plants, weeds, etc. If you want to save space in your pocket, just take coconuts or fruit instead of a whole tree. Then you can just plant them on your island( the coconut and fruit stack, using only one space. Unfortunately bamboo trees only have a couple of shoots on a mystery island. So if you want more you will have to take whole trees. Bamboo island are rare , so I suggest you get all the trees you want. You can place unwanted bamboo trees somewhere until you need them. You can also sell everything in Nook's Cranny..So don't go home with empty slots in your pocket.

Thank you for all these tips and videos! One for the new players is that you should always assess fossils to Blathers even if they’ve already been donated. This means you will get a higher price when you sell these fossils at Nook’s Cranny!

There will always be 2 items and 5 wasp nests in your trees on your island, if you have enough trees. Also 20-30 trees will have bells in them (I have seen some debate on the exact amount, seen some people say it is a fixed amount, while others say it fluctuates every day). However, if you go to Harv's island and get Katrina to tell you your fortune before shaking your trees, that can affect what they drop. If you get good money luck, the bells thay you shake out of the trees will be worth 500 instead of 100. And if you get a bad fortune and don't do her purification ritual, you will have 10 wasp nests in your trees instead of 5. Also, if you dig up all of your fossils every day, you should get 4 per day. Every new day, the game checks how many buried fossils are on your island. If it is less than 4, it will give you however many you need to get to 4. If you have 4-7, it will add one fossil. Once you hit 8, the game stops spawning them until you dig some of them up. Fossils are a great way to make some money. Digging all of them up and assessing them every day is definitely worth it. They vary in value, but if you don't need to donate any of them and just sell all of them to Nook's Cranny, I personally average 10-15k bells a day just from my fossils

Plus the gyroid fragment (you’ll find a FULL one buried or a fragment one by the sea) if you bury them in sand and water it then the next day dig them out and you”ll have a gyroid! And adding a shed out side the home has been a a life saver you can put a way multiple items at once or get something

Redd also appears on Harv’s island with the other sellers. He will change stock every week but ive been buying stuff daily cause then he’ll get a new item the next day You can also kick villagers with another villager’s amiibo. You need to invite them 3 times to get them to move in

Here's more hints - I know you want to save fish and bugs for your museum, but you you'll need all the money you can get..save stuff for the museum later.. Go on line and get list of prices for bugs and fish. When you're on the mystery island , you can decide what to keep and what to release. You don't have much room to carry much, so you only want to keep the higher money items. And items you want. You can also make stuff on the mystery island, including tools, instead of using. valuable nook miles buying from the pilot. Don't be afraid of leaving stuff - I got a furniture item from a tree and I didn't want it. I left it there, rather than taking up Valuable space on my pocket.

Your videos are really well explained and helpful ❤ Not sure if this helps but I have a handy tip ; if you need to get rid of (ahem) fruit strength, but you're on a mystery island and don't have access to a toilet - try digging up trees! Digging one full tree will use one increment of strength and you can either replant the tree or bring it home with you 😊

Also another very important tip! If you accidentally tell a villager to leave your island or you change your mind, if you make a second profile and get a second character on your island, they can talk to the villager you told to move away and change their mind by asking them to stay. This ONLY works on the SAME DAY they were given permission to leave, NOT if they are "in boxes" already. Having multiple characters on your island is actually handy. Each character on your island can buy one piece of artwork from Redd, so if he has multiple pieces you want on the same trip, you can use multiple characters to buy them all instead of missing out. Also, a new bottle with a recipe will spawn on the beach for each character on your island. Only one bottle can be on the beach at a time, and the bottle will only try to spawn the first time the character loads into the game that day. So if character 1 boots into the game and doesn't pick up the recipe bottle, and then player 2 loads into the game, there will still only be one bottle on the beach. If player 2 picks up the bottle and player 1 jumps back into the game later, there will not be a new bottle. However, if player 3 loads into the game, a new bottle will appear for them, since it is their first time loading into the game.

Another thing you can do for wasps!! If you have the tool ring, after you drop the wasp nest you can run straight up, use the tool ring to get the net, your character will automatically turn down and you can grab the wasps before they sting you :)

If you don't mind taking longer to pay your first debt to Tom Nook (5000 miles) you can spend some of those miles on a wetsuit at the Nook Stop machine in the tent for 800 miles. It might be a bit easier than waiting to get Nook's Cranny.

For hitting rocks making a corner near a rock with a space for you to stand and space all around the rock... For making a lot of bells I'd recommend the donation box when it's the hot item as if you put max bells in it and sell it you will get double the amount example: if you put 10k in it then sell when hot item it will sell for 20k! Easy way to double your bells... Does take a lot of time to put bells in buy still worth it.

Not at all! Online is basically just for things like multiplayer, going to peoples’ islands and them going to yours, etc. I use online so I can go to treasure islands and stuff to get more items, but you can get these without going to treasure islands, it will just take more time.
