Another place to get the double bladed lightsaber is Bogano. There is an underground puzzle near your ship. To solve it you need to have the push ability.

The one under the ship is for the stim crate, the bench is through a scomp link door near the first meditation circle I’m pretty sure. Need wall run and scomp to get it. It’s been a few days since I looked though xD

I just discovered that today while replaying the game! I thought I was just gonna get another component at that workbench and the only place you could get the saberstaff was Dathomir because it's significant to Darth Maul who is famous for the use of a saberstaff.

Two more tips. Firstly, you don't HAVE to rest at the Meditation spots. If you do, you respawn all the enemies. You can just use them as save points. If you just meditate, it will save your game, but WON'T respawn all the enemies you just killed. Secondly, even though you can't parry or block an enemy's attack when they glow red, you can still attack the enemy and if you score a hit while they glow red, it will interrupt that red attack. Enjoy!!

It also depends on how far into the animation they are. Not even half second later you won't interrupt it and get hit. At least from what I observed.

You can force push to counter unblockable attacks. Even works on Purge troopers/inquisitors. Doing that also drastically decreases their stamina bar setting up an early stagger for you to attack.

Also after you get captured by the Brood, Bounty Hunter start showing up in various locations. Defeating them gets some good xp.

Yes double blades do less damage per hit, but the attacks are faster than single blade attacks. In the end its about the same dps.

I will say when it comes to one on one boss battles single blade is supreme since some enemies only let you get two hits in per opening, three if you’re lucky. Wanna get as much damage on them as possible

I got the double saber on bogano, so when you said Dathomir, I was like "that was a joke and he is trying to get us all killed." I have it and have yet to make to Dathomir. But it might be because I'm a little raccoon who loves to find secrets instead of paying attention to plot.

You just need to get force push and the scomp link, which you can grab straight after the first temple by taking the other shirtcut back to the weathered monument and pushing that wall in. Then you can return to Bogano and gain access to the abandoned workshop to get the dual bladed saber early. It's not as early as just heading straight to Dathomir, but it's definitely safer on Grand Master. It's also worth grabbing the scomp link early for the locked chests and doors, so you don't have to backtrack as much. There are some areas you only return to for collectables and the game doesn't make you go back, so you might completely forget about them.

You don't have to go to Dathomir to get the double bladed lightsaber. You can also get it on Bogano after you finish your objective on Zeffo. Once you learn force push you can unblock the bridge to the abandoned workshop and there you will find the double lightsaber upgrade.

Once you finish Zeffo, BD will gain 'Slice' so you can return to Bogano, enter the workshop and get a double-blade lightsabre there a lot easier than Dathomir. In fact, a tip I would add is you've completed the initial quest line on one world, go back and grind a little on the previous worlds. You can probably unlock a few other areas with new abilities, practice combat techniques, and as the areas respawn easily you can farm quite a bit of xp and get yourself a few spare skill points.

I was able to get the double bladed lightsaber in the abandoned lab on Borgano after Zeffo. Just make sure you get the slicing tool for BD-1. Again, still early in the playthrough without the difficulty of Dathomir

Another tip that I’ve found very useful is that this game likes to put bosses by a ledge and if you’re having a hard time or don’t want to mess with them, AND IF YOU HAVE PUSH, just throw them off the edge :)

You can also upgrade to the double saber after you get force push and the scomp link repair. Going back to Bagano, and finding your way into the workshop. This makes it so that when you go to Darhomir, you get a lightsaber sleeve just by walking up to the work table where you could have gotten the upgrade.

I just started playing this game and I returned to Bogano after visiting Zeffo. I got the double lightsaber there. I would suggest doing that if you aren’t an expert at games of this style or are struggling with fighting tough enemies. Plus it’s a more special discovery there within the overall story. You don’t have to go to Dathomir early if you don’t want to.

You can also get a double blade upgrade on Bogano if you’ve gotten a scomp link for BD and Force Push from the first part of Zeffo. It’s around the area with the bogdo attacking the grub things, push down that bridge and follow the path. You’ll find it even if you aren’t paying attention much beyond where you’re going.

A big tip specific to combat, try to parry any blockable moves instead of spamming dodge. Dodging is great, but it can often take you away from the enemy you are fighting, not letting you punish a missed attack as much as you could if you parry and retaliate. Parry also does not deplete your block meter, but instead drains your enemies block meter, so it is very rewarding to get down. Many fights actually really depend on you getting parry off.

The duble blades can be get from bogama too. Go to zeffo get the push ability and ho back to work shop in bogana, push that little bridge thing progress the area bit and there is a workshop and there you go duble blades. Also can be get on Kaashyyk too. Right before the 9th sister boss, up on the big tree

Abandoned workshop on first planet is where I found my dual upgrade. Went back after completion of the main quest on the next suggested planet. Not doth, it was pretty easy!

You can get the double light sable in Bogano in the abandon workshop. Just go to the areas you miss due Bd-1 upgrade to slice (you can find it in Zeffo) and Cal push ability. Also is different looking than the one in Dathomir.

When your on bogano you can find an underground workshop where you can get the double bladed lightsaberreally early in the game and its really easy to get it. Its on the far left side of the map when your ship is at the bottom of your screen.

Bought the game for $20 at Walmart a week or two ago and loving it. Tried playing with just a keyboard but reached a point high in the tree's that I had to get a controller! Now I'm trying to get use to it and switch back and forth

You really need to learn how to use light saber attacks that use force powers. Yes it depletes your force bar, however for every regular blow you strike you replenish your force powers. So combine all your attack abilities. Parry, regular hit (replenishes force), overhead slash (depletes force), parry, regular hit, light saber throw, Hit, dash and flip blow . . . Rinse and repeat. Makes the game more enjoyable and you take down bosses even faster with combos of force and not force blows.

You can actually get a third stim upgrade on Bogano once you can wall run. In the cave where the giant lizard thing looks down at you.Find how to access this cave from outside and get down into it via the vines and there is a upgrade chest there.So when you go to Zeffo you get a fourth stim and so have four really early ingame.Explore everywhere you can once you get wallrun, there are heaps of things to find ie life essences. First zeffo village you come to with a a dozen or so troopers,just rest each time you kill them all, moving from the meditation spots at each side then moving back to kill them all again. Easy xp and super fun trying to kill them all without taking a single damage hit.

Well I already did all this before watching the video and one extra tip make sure to unlock the run and block and then you can block shot mid run and it is especially good with the double light saber and you can doge a 1 sec before the hit

Every time I play I take at least 2-3 hours and take about 3 sessions to leave 1 planet. Also if you enjoy a challenge along with the story, play on jedi master difficulty, the combat is so much more fun when they engage you as well.

You don't have to go to dathomir to get the double light saber early, once you get the BD-1 splice, which is really early, you can get it in Eno Cordova's lab in Bogano, darthomir can be really stressful early on

Double Bladed Lightsaber can also be found in Kashyyyk. Granted, its not super early into the game, but it still isn't that late. You can get right after you take ride on the giant Bird creature to reach the top of the World Tree.

On the spam attack I very much agree but there is one attack I find very crucial the Dodge kick if you can figure out when to use on stormtroopers the main enimes will become a hole lot easier it is great if a purge trooper is about to kill you and you Dodge out and knock him off balance creating an opening for you but most creatures this will not work and unless you have perfect timing you shouldn't use it that much your lightsaber is attached to you use it like a limb and figure out how to solve for moments where a slash or kick won't help you

TIPS Using force pull on the oganos to expose their tongues to cut them off The dual lightsaber is fast at attacking but deels less damage Use force slow to attack scout troopers while they are attacking with defence up to do damage Force pull while upgraded can pull small non boss enemies then quickly kill them unless they are purge troopers

The Nightbrothers are SAVAGE and hard to beat, their melee weapons deal a lot of damage if you're not ready for them. BLOCK first when they start to attack, then when they finish attacking, parry and then counter. When they turn red, you'll have a small window to counter, but not long. They go down MUCH easier if you've blocked them and then counter. Having the dual blade is very effective against the Nightbrothers, since it will block their melee attacks better. The archer Nighbrothers are much easier, you simply block their light arrows and then move in for the kill, or Force push them off an edge if they're standing near one.

I've played a fair amount of RPGs, and most of them run the same way: You have the one main mission to get through the game, but in order to level up your character and really get into the universe you're playing in, I always go to the non-mission directive places first. So me, I figure, "shit, I'll just go to Dathomir first... get some decent skills, level up my character and then go to Zeffo." 4 hours later: 'WHAT KIND OF WIMPY SHIT FUCK OF A PADAWAN GETS HIS ASS TAKEN DOWN BY THE LOCAL WILDLIFE?! WHAT THE FUCK?! OH, SORRY FUTURE GENERATIONS OF JEDI... OUR HERO WAS KILLED BY A FUCKING SPIDER AND SOME WEAK FUCK DARTH MAUL WANNA BE WITH A STICK!! FUCK THIS GAME... AHHHHH!!!" Followed by: Double light saber... you mean this whole time, I could come here... and not DO ANYTHING?! Love the game, but man... Dathomir is a total n00b trap.

I don't mean any disrespect but, can someone vouch for healing while blocking? More specifically, healing while in block state. In my experience, Cal won't use stims or even attack until you've let go of the block button and have exited the block state/animation. Also, I've also found that once you've started blocking an attack, it's best to continue to block rather than drop it and try to parry. Even against slower hitting enemies, attempting to parry after blocking is extremely unsafe and I've been punished for it 9 times out of 10. Keep in mind, I'm playing on Jedi Grand Master so idk if there are any small changes/secret mechanics aside from what the game tells you on difficulty selection.

Got the double blade on Bogano. Force push the bridge on the bottom level by the elevator to get to the abandoned lab/factory

There is a easier way to get to double blades lightsaber but for that you need to get the force push which you need to unlock the scump link (zeffo) then after yiu have the scump link return to the planet where you met bd 1 and right out side of the cave you learned the wall run there is that one broken bridge which you can now use thanks to force push. Now just try to find a work shop there you can unlock a door with the scump link and there is a work bench which you can use to built the double bladed light Saber. Also I would recommend to watch a video on it which you can find easily when you search for how to get double bladedight Saber on KZbin
