This is the Document Regarding Rivalry of the Warlords www.yugioh-card.com/eu/play/rivalry-of-warlords/ The following section regarding specifically activating flip effects by a monster sent to the gy by rivalry when attacked is no longer accurate and needs to be updated following the April 2021 Master Rule Revision. But this document has not been updated and has been available for over 10 years. "While Rivalry/Gozen is active, you can still Set monsters of any Type/Attribute, and you can Special Summon monsters of the wrong Type/Attribute face-down. But you can’t Flip Summon them afterwards, and they’re sent to the Graveyard after damage calculation if your opponent attacks them. (Also, in that case, you won’t get the effects of cards that need to be destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, because they’re sent to the Graveyard by the Trap Card’s effect instead. But Flip Effects will still activate.)" Master Rule 2021 April Revisions www.yugioh-card.com/eu/play/2021-rules-update/ Sometimes reffered to as th benten ruling contradicts the prior flip effect ruling as the monster will be sent to the gy before it can activate despite meeting its trigger condition. This document was from only 2 years ago and has changed that ruling. "2. If a monster’s Trigger Effect meets its activation conditions, BUT hasn’t yet had a chance to actually activate yet (because it’s still in the middle of a chain or card effect, for example) and is therefore being “saved for later”, BUT its location* changes between the time its Trigger Effect activation is met, and the time it actually has a chance to activate, its effect does not activate. [*On the field, in the Graveyard, in the hand, banished, or in the Deck.]"

Well if something weird happens with your apollousa you can come back and see if it made sense. Are there other interactions that didn't make sense to you? Maybe I'll make a video on them.

@@LegacyCrusaders Id be curious to see a video about how to get rid of monsters “unaffected by card effects”. I know there’s tributing them like with Kaijus. Is that the only method? If a monster was unaffected by card effects & couldn’t be tributed, would it be literally impossible to destroy other than by battle?

There are a few ways, and the topic deserves a video. You can out then with Herald of the abyss because it's a player action that sends it rather than a card effect. If it enters the board while skill drain is up it will be negated so it's affected by everything. Your opponent can link it off for you, you can kill it in battle, and evenly matched would also be able to out it similar to Herald of the abyss. You can also out it with underworld goddess of the closed world.

@@AGayWerewolf The effect of those cards makes your opponent do a physical action,, its not the effect of the card that would send it or banish it.

You mean you can't get the alt at or you can't get the card at all. It's a ur so you can craft it, idk about the alt art version being craftable.

@@JugoGenre go to deck, go to the deck editor, make sure the box that lets you see cards you have and dont have is selectable, it looks like a solid card and dashed card, type apollousa in the search bar and then craft the card. If a card is only in the master pack, that's the best way to get any card if you have the craft points.
