My husband does P&C insurance he does very well lots of clients just love him. Explaining policies is a plus to making the money in this industry a guaranteed. It's a people business giving great quotes and they will keep coming back because they know how much they are saving:) Plus the referrals are great cause when they know you are an exceptional person that truly cares they will refer family and friends:)

I think if you are coachable you can definitely transition and be successful. I think the biggest thing is making sure you are competent with technology. This seems to be an issue for some.

So I’m working for an agency…. What is the right way that the principal pays out to their employee from a sale and renewal policy? Should the principal pay their employee by commission of a sale? And do the employee still get paid by renewals of policy that they sold? Or they just get paid by hourly?
