Thank you for looking into this it’s very nice of you to take the time to figure out an alternative method. I don’t use this tool but watched your video because of the left hand title. As a lefty it does frustrate me a lot that we have to use tools like this backwards, upside down etc. Just squaring things up is sometimes a mind numbing challenge with getting the fabric & ruler turned a way that I can safely cut & most times, I am having to look at it from 3” to 1” etc as you have just demonstrated. My latest frustration is with tape measures. We’ve been remodeling & half the time I am taking measurements with the tape measure upside down. Still, kudos to you again for giving us an option. ❤

No magic number. You just need a straight line there. The important lines are the vertical one on the right and the diagonal line from corner to corner!
