Hi Marcus! Another great video. Excited for your new project in anticipation anxiety. So so common and debilitating

Hey Marcus. Thanks for your videos. I really enjoy watching them. I am 45, married and successful in what I am doing but I always felt that I couldn't live up to my full potential or live a life that wasn't 100% true to myself because of my stuttering. I am quite impressed by your way of speaking and would love to know how bad your stuttering really was when you started working on it. I just want to know how far you had to go to get to this stage. I assume you don't have any voice recordings of yourself from the past that you are comfortable with sharing?

Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad to hear you've been able to build a great life despite the stuttering! It definitely took time to get my speech to where it is now. Stuttering really hindered my overall confidence and I was in a constant state of feeling unable to express myself the way I wanted to. Sometimes I could hide it pretty well, but even then it was super exhausting to be so "in my head" about it and be so avoidant of situations and feared words. And I actually found a few clips where I stuttered just talking to myself with my phone - I included those clips in the video at the top of this page: www.speakyourmindmethod.com/ultimate-speech-therapy

I think he talked about it in some of his videos. Try to watch all of his videos and practice his tools in the stuttering workshop

I encourage you to take his free workshop, it will really help you. One can not illuminate anticipation of stammering, but it will become less the more you practice.
