From my experience, most people move to be near work or college, and also where their friends are. Don't choose a place just from the heart though, Be practical. Also, don't break your Contract if possible because that will cost you. Lastly, women should make sure it's a safe area for them. Hope that helps.

also! in Ontario, if you have a car and renters insurance this generally lowers your car insurance payments when you bundle so you kind of get renters insurance for free! :)

Practical things like: can opener, scissors, various types of screw drivers, batteries, a lamp or two and bulbs, kettle, small things like spoons etc. Lastly, chocolate and coffee to keep you going on moving day.
