I love the idea of labeling "this is a nerf toy" in tape while in luggage. Makes it as crystal as possible to any inspector, and costs no effort. Just in case

I have yet to fly for Nerf events, let alone vacations and visits in general, but I'm glad you were thorough and clear about your experiences and useful tips. I'll keep this in mind when or if I fly.

I think transporting large bundles of wire tools and equipment can cause issues. I was once stuck in an airport 4 hours due to someone carrying lots of guitar wire. Not sure transporting a caliburn or brassed springer assembled is recommended either as it could be classed as a undeclared firearm /air rifle.

Just curious, but how about them darts? Are they carry-on okay? I'd guess they go in a checked bag just because they're called "darts."

Does this apply for fly across the world for example I’m planing on going from the USA back home to the Philippines. And if I buy a blaster would it be the same rules that apply bring home a blaster to the Philippines to the US and I wouldn’t have to say I have a blaster or anything, right?
@outofdarts2 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid that's out of our area of expertise, as we haven't flown internationally with blasters or LiPos. The only recommendation I'd make is to check the customs agency website of the country you're flying to to see if they have any guidelines regarding transporting Lithium batteries and toy weapons.

with the batterys and hot cars i just keep them in my pockets and not put hard stuff in that pocket only stuff like darts socks etc alternatively you can also have a cooler with multiple segments and put your batteries in there and have the cooler have a ice pack in it thatway you dont have to worry as much about it but still know it will be safe

Not related to the video but can you use stefan darts in a stock blaster? (like a sling fire)
@andysworld92985 жыл бұрын
If these blasters are this valuable to you, you should pack them with a $40.00 ar15 lower in a hard case, use an abloy lock to secure it, and declare the firearm at check in. As a bare lower receiver this is 50 state legal and allows you the use of a MUCH better lock than what is typically allowed. The TSA cannot break your lock and search your declared baggage.

Believe it or not, your nerf guns are not high theft value. They're also of little to no interest to airport security personnel. Declaring it as a firearm is causing you far more grief and you'll get nothing out of it. Also, it isn't a firearm. So that's another good reason not to declare it as one.
@andysworld92985 жыл бұрын
SykoLiu I understand how this concept can cause confusion. I’m not suggesting that anyone should declare their toys as firearms. I’m saying that traveling with a firearm is a great way to ensure your luggage will never get lost in transit or stolen by would be thieving airline employees.

Let me guess, you guys searched for this because you’re concerned about your blaster(s) not getting through a plane and bring it to an international nerf war? Yeah me too…
