You should teach us how to calculate the hight of the mountains on the moon from the length of their shadows.

🤔 Hmmm…. an interesting problem…. Let’s see now…. if you know the angle of the sunlight striking the moon and the…..uhh…. 😵💫 yeah , I was afraid of that… I’ve reached the limit of my tired old brain…..all I can think about is what I’m going to have for dinner….🤪

@@oldgazer7200 Yeah! I've been thinking about it. You need to know the angle of the sun and have some way of measuring the Moon's surface. I'm just not as smart as William Herschel.

Have you ever seen high flying birds (or perhaps they are bats?) pass across the full moon through a telescope? I've witnessed them many times.
