Omg loved this! I had a VERY similiar experience with Yelp from 1 bad review and it eats me alive everytime I look at our page. It will put you in a bad headspace so quickly! Great advice, per usual ❤

This is so true!! I’ve had a bad review on groupon and it hurt so much because the lady had lied! I wish when people weren’t happy they would reach out and communicate instead of just writing bad reviews

Side note to start: Shaunas hair looks amazing any color. Wtf girl , share the love 🤣 secondly , I respect so much how you care deeply and passionately about your brand and business. It's so inspiring, and you're truly an idol in the eyes of the lash world (and beyond). A few bad reviews don't compare to the hundreds and thousands of amazing ones. Don't get butt hurt. Bcuz at the end of the day, like Mike said, we're human. We're not perfect , and we make mistakes. We grow and learn from them. I've grown so much since following LivBay, and I'll always be grateful 🙏

I doubt you’ll see this but I’m a brow artist who did a one on one course over a year ago, haven’t even utilised this training properly because I got frustrated with how slow I was and thought, ‘why am I working for nothing when I can book paying brow clients’. I got so mad at myself because had I knuckled down and looked further ahead I could be in a different place now. But this year I have decided to put aside time to practice on my loyal brow clients and by next Christmas I want to be charging (realistically based off my skill set and experience) for this service. I’m a single mum in Australia who raises my 9 year old son all by myself and even considered going to University to get a degree in probably something I wouldn’t be truly passionate about but since discovering your podcast I’ve redirected that mindset and now I’m excited. Thank you guys for having this podcast and inspiring me to dream a little further down the track and giving me the opportunity to hopefully be able to show my son what hard work will reward you with. If you ever come to Perth, Western Australia to educate, I’ll be there!

Yeah, I definitely won't be using yelp at all! I have gone on their looking for other services, and it just seems like that platform is for land of the meanies who just want to destroy businesses 🤔..... So I been stopped going their for reviews. As you said if I get a service, and if I'm unhappy with it then, I will say something BEFORE I LEAVE THE SHOP! LIKE WHY IS THAT HARD?!?!... If somethings occurs after I leave then I contact where I got my service done! 😌
