This is genius! I am fellow Christmas tree designed by profession, so I can objectively say that. As you said, trust the process. The critical comments are looking at the tree as is, without the remaining decor added. When it’s fully decorated, those garlands will make it look like a $1000 Christmas tree 👍🏻

Same. Although i don't actually have ornaments that old. I have a few that have been passed down from my mom, but I've bought plenty of replica vintage ornaments because they're so beautiful. I don't go for these simple one color theme trees. I want it packed with ornaments of all colors

By doing that you took away from the Xmas tree and the Garland, just add clear lights to the tree and to the Garland and see how simple and beautiful they look!

I love this I’m very natural like nature. This is beautiful work. Exquisite especially the ribboning on the other trees wow. Class a lot of people don’t understand sophistication. Your work is stunning. I’d like to know where to get the snowy garland plz. Amazon has al diff types but non look as natural an soft as yours. It has a softness to it i cant explain. The tree is king of Christmas 8ft flocked and the icy garland was from michaels a few years back but recently I have seen similar at hobby lobby. Thank you very much for your kind words.

Oh my goodness, what a great idea if you have an old sorry looking the like i do. I love a lot of color on my tree, so colored lights, most of my decorations, i have so many that i have to put them inside the branches too, some would call my tree gaudy, but i love it. Gonna stuff some garland in my tree this year, i will make it look fantastic with this idea. Thank you

Yo this is really nice and I like how subtle it is with the lights. I really like the traditional look with flashy lights but I’m stuck in between trying this way or having more lights 😩😩 this my first year putting up and decorating a tree by myself. So all of this is overwhelming lol.

Right? This is a genius idea. I think the critical comments are from people who don’t understand what it will look like when all the decor is added. They’re judging the before and after based on just this video, and obviously it takes the full ornamental decor to have the effect of this garland.

The oldest were passed down. The rest were collected over the years. Each person got a new ornament every year. The kids got theirs when they turned 21.

To simplify an answer I’ll just say that most people have thin sparce trees and I’ve been asked how to make them fuller. I shared so it might help someone who asked me. But personally I like the texture and dimension it added plus the green goes well with the blue.

It’s all about adding different textures, just like when you add picks and sprays to your tree. Mixing texture is is a fun way to change up an old tree or add fullness to a tree that’s sparse. There is no wrong way to do it. Have a merry Christmas.

I realize this is why they make chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ... BUT, your garland, in my eyes, smothers and cheapens your tree! It is NOT good or desirable, nor is it a "designer look" by any stretch of the imagination! Lush...NO...you've lost your tree! Cut your long needle pine garland in pieces and insert the 'snippets' amongst your branches or purchase long needle pine picks (if that's what you prefer) and insert them among the branches. This will achieve fullness in a tree. LESS IS MORE! HOWEVER, your tree IS already a "full snowy tree!!!" "Trust the process," PLEASE cease and desist! Swear AT this look ... OH, MYLANTA! ... and possibly think a career change for the New Year. P.S. As for "the rest of the stuff"... just say "NO"! Be merry at any rate...
