I’ve noticed, for myself, that if I want a lighter blend, I do better holding the brush handle and if I want more intense, I use my thumb over the bristles- I’m also learning not to panic but wait for it to dry. It’s hard but you are so right it’s so easy to criticize ourselves. Your work is beautiful

I’m a speech pathologist and have worked with lots of occupational therapists so I’ve picked up some things from them about pressure that seem to transfer well to crafting.

New Like ! In Savannah GA last night it was in the 30s believe it or not ! Whole family in NY got COVID and were vacinated twice. I lost my brother in law on the 2nd he passed from it!! Please be Safe! Trying to find Channels to make me happier. You so far seem sweet ! Wonderful

Thank you for these tips! When I first used it I looked for numbers on them to hopefully help me out and it took a little bit to figure it out and had to scoot the stencil over as it did not line up like I thought it should.

What is the lighter color that's used for the inking? Sea salt?

Maybe foil the layer you want first and then go back and ink the other 3 layers....would that work?
