I think Citibank in Malaysia have something similar like here in Australia where you can withdraw money from ATM overseas without any fees, worth to check it out 😎

I know right - i used to do that, but we use the citibank debit card here which actually was really good for foreign exchange with no withdrawal fee, but because bali has no credit card system for smaller warung well i guess you still need cash and haha even we found it hard and had to research hard 😀🙏, hows your xmas? Ahh, Bali, I was there a year ago! I've stopped using exchange places years ago after several bad experiences. I always use an ATM but not all are created equal. Thanks for your recommendations! I also really like how simple, short yet helpful this video is. Great video :)

We exchanged money at the bank in America before we went to Asia last year. Probably not the best rate. Good tip on places to change money, will keep that in mind next time we're in Indonesia.

Good solid advice there guys, especially about avoiding the places offering above market rates, it's the old saying "if it's too good to be true..." 😎👍 A quick question regarding the ATM's, did you notice if their machines had a limit on the amount you can withdrawal in a single transaction? Here in Vietnam some ATM's only let you take out VND3,000,000 / US$130.00 at a time, which can be a bit of a nuisance.

palwinder singh most of bali have them from provider like XL, Simpati (you can get them at the airport) but its slightly pricier than inside bali itself, but most convenient store sell sim card - so if you arent in a rush inner bali gives you better package deal for sim card :)

Hey it will work :) to be safe before travelling, call up NAB and told them you are travelling to Indonesia and give them dates so they won’t block due to unknown activities especially if you are going to use it for high $ transactions
