I am on my second study of painting this flower. My goal is to accomplish painting washes building up color in flowers such as this one. How can you get rid of the pencil marks? That’s one thing I hate in my own paintings. As I look, my eyes alway go to the pencil marks. 😭
@KarenRiceArt Жыл бұрын
It can be tricky to get rid of pencil marks, but I have a few tips: 1: Try to rub them off when your painting is dry. 2: Draw very lightly, make as few marks as you can. 3: Don't use a hard or soft pencil (HB is best I think). 4: Don't use pencil, paint without drawing! That is the hardest! If anyone else has any tips, let us know? Thank you, and hope this was helpful :)
@priyankanautiyal87485 ай бұрын
Could even try running a kneaded eraser over the pencil marks. I'm noticing that helps quite a bit. The impression of the pencil mark stays, but it brings the graphite to minimum. So makes it hardly visible.
