How do I regulate my nervous system? How do I stop responding to anxiety triggers? In this Expert Video, we’ll learn four tips from Clinical Psychologist Dr. Han Ren on how to regulate our nervous systems and deal with residual, unprocessed stress left in the body. Certain triggers or stressors can cause anxiety, but with techniques like deep breathing, activating our senses with grounding exercises, and physical movement, we can allow ourselves to feel our feelings and recenter our minds and bodies, even while facing unprocessed trauma.

Some good tips, but I wish it was presented in a slower way. It's discussing calming down the nervous system, with fast music, talking and editing. I also feel like the angle is weird, wouldn't it be better if it was filmed sitting down? More relaxed atmosphere.

I actually couldn't finish it. Far too distracting between music and pacing of key points.

Too fast. Made me nervous just watching it! And way too peppy for people with psych issues which apparently she has never experienced.

Found this at the perfect time! Been feeling a lot of stress from a lot of things and it resulted in a lot of headaches and mild depersonalization from the sheer amount of stress and anxiety I was feeling. These tips helped a lot to calm down and ground myself again :)

If this stuff works, you don’t have real stress or anxiety. You just think you do or you have very minor stress or anxiety

Exactly, I keep thinking I must have something very wrong with me but I remember that this is just cheap ubiquitous advice coming from people who have no idea what real stress and anxiety feels like
