You don't use a square to draw your dock's outlines, pre-punch your holes or lubricate your drill bits? Your one hell of a maverick Tim! Great video as always !

I typically use a square but talked about in the Rittal that this panel had layout measurement on it. The panel was center punched, it must not have made it into the edit 😕 BUT I never use oil. I've built 1000s of panels and found that the biggest culprit of fingerprints and smudge marks was oil. When I quit using oil and considered the shortened drill and tap life a cost is doing business, our finished product looked tremendously better.

Hi Tim Would you please consider making a video on Compact Guardlogix and highlight the safety aspect of it as it differs from the normal compact logix Thank you in advance

We are currently planning a series when we will upgrade a standard PLC and configurable safety relay to a Compact Guardlogix.

great video, love the content. i personally tend to go for rivet over a tapped hole in panels as I have found tapping into sheet metal hasnt had great lifespan of multiple uses but I guess it all comes down to personal preference at the end of the day. i have also started putting in rivnuts if its something I envision having to be removed frequently. keep up the great content

You are right, much of it comes to personal preference. I know lots of companies that rivet.
