Tips on Meeting Taylor Swift

I just went to the concert last night! I didn't get noticed, but it was still the best night of my life, and the show was amazing! I would definitely recommend going, even if you don't meet her, it's still really fun!

I DEFINITELY agree with enjoying the show in the moment because that might be the only time you'll see her but, for me recording really has helped me look back at the show because I get to look at what I witnessed, except it's on a phone so no where near comparable to the actual night. When you start missing the concert (Post concert depression) the videos and pictures really help you reminisce and look back at how you felt, what you were looking at etc... I literally smile every time I look at This Is We Can't Have Nice Things because I remember how fun it was to sing along, how bright and amazing the stage looked and how sad I felt because the show was ending, so recording (and taking pictures but recording is better) really helps. Unfortunately for me I didn't record much moments because I had the same thoughts of "I want to enjoy the show with my own eyes at the moment" and I really did enjoy the show with my own eyes at the moment. I remember being in awe and in surprise that I was actually in a stadium with Taylor and I'm about to see her. But now in the present, in mid October I only have memories of what I saw. The memories in my head don't trigger much happiness and nostalgia-ish thing as the vids and pics do. I wish I had taken more videos and pics than did but that's just my opinion.

I too recorded some of the show and took a lot of pictures. I think there is a healthy balance between “i want to record the entire thing so I can produce my own live rep tour movie” and just taking them for yourself. As long as you have fun that’s all that matters!!

I’m watching this 3 years later and it’s crazy how far she’s come. she’s come out with 3 more albums after reputation and you had no idea then and it’s crazy hearing u say what if it’s the last album lol. i want to meet taylor so bad but the pandemic will make it tough for now :( I hope i meet her one day!

I love how sparkly your outfit was, it's great what sequins can do! Sequins work well for this tour too (I appreciate you wouldn't have known that at the time of filming!) so I think it can still match the theme of the era. Great tips, congratulations on meeting Taylor :)

Lights aren't allowed anymore, but what I think she's trying to get across is to be noticed you have to make yourself visible, and sparkles/lights are the easiest way to do that. I have seen a lot of super extravagant handmade costumes for this tour already, so that's a good route to go! individuality is a good thing!

Yes, maybe not sparkles but be unique, do something out of the box. Lights and sparkles did it for me, but it wasn’t done at all when I met her. Everyone follows trends. Do something that everyone will be looking at. I filmed this video right before the album was released, and didn’t know anything about the tour.
