Great tips Eamonn. I'm only fly fishing two seasons (something to learn during covid) and it was very frustrating at first...losing flies...tangles...bad casts...even went for a dip one day!! But it was all fun that culminated in a 22 fish session with the dry dropper last year. It's a great sport and I'm so glad I gave it a go!

Hi there, I would do the same as other rivers ,I enjoy fishing new rivers I feel like fish better because I'm in discovery mode constantly searching and put more effort in,hope this helps ,
