Thanks mate, yeah a bit of prep time looking at tides/wind/moon etc., and lots of trial and error lol, can help to nut out when the jacks are feeding and what on. An afternoon up a creek in glass out condition like this with the scenery is pretty special even if no fish are found....which when chasing jacks can happen a lot.

Hey mate love your vidios just wondering what pound line and leader do you use for jacks?

G'day mate, In this vid fishing in tight structure I had 50 pound braid and 50 pound leader. Is over kill for these smaller jacks but needed if you hook a big red dog around the fallen trees to get them out of the structure. I still lose a few with 50 pound. If fishing more open waters I use 30 pound.

Tide was still really high but heading out. The exact spot doesn't matter, all the creeks and rivers around here have lots of jacks in them, it's more about fishing the right times using what they are feeding on that day.
