Thank you. I am coping and pasting this to several people., who helped me. I got my results today. I took my test yesterday evening. I made a 91. The test was big , but the biggest issue were the proctors. The day before the test. I had to change my strategy. That increased my time. I used the small plastic tabs to separate my answers instead of writing them on the board. I may have used the board maybe 10 times., mostly during E/M section. I am so glad I thought of using the tabs to separate my answers. Due to not having to use the board so much, I was able to finish with a few minutes to spare each time. The test seemed slightly easier online than in the study guide. I had maybe 4 questions that I had to use the parenthesis “do not use with”. The answers mostly were on the same page. You had to know your “ body parts and approach” to get to it. The 2nd proctor interrupted me and I was going to get 3 of the first 5 questions wrong had I not had time go and read them again. My passing or failing would have determined if I had complained about her. It was a marathon for sure.

@reaganbrackett5625 жыл бұрын
I'm having a problem with this too, but I've found that a CPC-A will at least give you the ability to get other desirable certifications without needing prior experience. The COC certification is a high paying certification that is desirable by the standards of many hospitals and clinics. It normally requires two years of experience but having the CPC-A certificate waves that requirement. You can also get the CIC and CMPA without needing prior experience. I feel that the more certifications you hold, the more likely you'll be able to catch a job in that field without needing a ton of experience.

HI codemaster coach, i did some practice tests with my courses in my career cetificate program and timed myself, but i found myself just looking up the codes directly instead of looking up the words first and had to do that and that ends up being my strategy like whever i look up any CPT codes and ICD 10 codes because if i did that for every single question, it seems ok mostly but if i did that to every question i spend like 5 -10 mins on each question than 4 mins on each quesiton and i wasted precious time.

How can it be Expanded Problem Focused when the history is determined by the lowest category documented? Also, in Components of an Examination, I counted 6 systems, so I put Detailed. What is the difference in a body system, basic systems (is this body areas?), and detailed systems? Also, can you explain Medical Decision Making? Just when I think I understand it all, I come up with the wrong answer. HELP!!!!! I will go back and watch all of your E &M videos again.

when you find out if you pass or fail does it say the percentage of how you did compared to others that took the exam? top 60%, top 70%, etc.
@gLuVsMath15 жыл бұрын
I feel knowing that would help in getting a job if you pass with top 80%+.

do you get an actual score out of the highest possible or it just says pass or fail?
@codemastercoach66365 жыл бұрын
Your score sheet will let you know your percentage in each domain of the exam. For example, it will say for anesthesia you scored 30 out of 40.

Your going to have to start from the beginning and reteach yourself all over because since 2008, we now use ICD-10-CM instead of ICD-9-CM. However, they are very much alike, just different codes ( rather than up to 5 digits, we now can go up to 7 with alphabets)

I have a question? I passed my AHIMA examination for CBCS. I wanted to know an honest opinion do you think it matter what credentials you have for billing? I have worked close to people in the field that didn't have any credentials at all. The company trained them and I felt many ways. I felt like school was a waste of time and money for me. Then other employers would ask for so much experience for you to have. I would still fill out for the position and get denied. Can you give any advice?
