What if I want to get my dependant on dependant visa ? What’s the accommodation requirement I need to have ? In order to submit during visa filing for my dependant ? And what will be the average cost of such accommodation? Thank you ! Expecting a reply from you

Hi, you should be able to find a family accommodation at your university. For example, I’m aware that Exeter offers family accommodation (2bhk as well as 3bhk studios). The annual rent is somewhere between 10,000 - 11,000 gbp. You can also consider private accommodation, perhaps a small apartment. The rent should be similar. For visa purpose, you will be required to present the proof of money to support each of the dependent. So, in your bank statement, you will need to show your course fees, accommodation rent, and living expenses (for you and your dependent(s) combined). Hope this helps!

I don’t think university accommodation asks for guarantor, private ones do

Hey, I completely agree with you. I think both types of accommodation have their own pros and cons. Because of how expensive uni accommodation is, I had booked private accommodation when I was studying. But it had its own set of problems that I probably wouldn’t have faced if I had booked a university accommodation.

@@anusoma but still comparing it to uni accomodations it is still better than that as there are less drawbacks in it. What do you think?
