I literally had that happen to me in my last game. The CB just stood their like a dumb ass as the WR flew right by him. Didn’t press like he was supposed to or anything. This is exactly what I was afraid of, bs like this.

I like to run freshman in practice it helps to get easy reps it helps you build momentum and makes getting to a high rep count easier. As you get better you raise the difficulty higher and higher. Watch what happens.

I will be winning by 14pts going into the 4th and then all of a sudden the computer gets like 3 levels added on to them. All of a sudden can't be stopped and they turn into the steel curtain

The same way in Madden, it is programmed to keep the games close and it will do dumb stuff like you will be in a cover 4 quarters every man playing a quarter of the field and they will make all of your players blitz for a wide open touchdown this is just madden college football

adjust the sliders if you have to. I noticed that highly contested throws the user WR has a good chance to drop while the AI WR basically has 100% catch rate on contested throws. I tuned down CPU throwing accuracy from 50 to 40 and the CPU WR catching ability from 50 to 45

@@laance96 yeah sliders were going to be my next step. I also noticed I get sacked very quickly while my line gets no pressure. It's definitely a function of not using a 5 star team, but I'm also not playing against 5 star teams.

This game is def touchy on defense... I'm going to hit the mini games.. I used to play the shit out of those on the PS2 madden 07 days haha... I feel the mini games will help a lot.. I played some games earlier today finally on All American.. first game I threw so many picks and couldn't tackle anyone..but then I started getting the hang of it.. still a pain in the ass to tackle especially in the open field!

Played my nephew against Colorado. He kept throwing deep bombs to Travis Hunter and he was catching everything deep--like God tier. They also made Ohio State into an unbeatable team. Some stuff just doesnt seem right. Also hate the Mario Kart way you cant keep the lead.

I'm so bad at defense. I just googled lob pass, too. Thank u for this. Opening kickoff of first online game, he ran the kickoff back. Then he got 4 picks. I need all the help u have. If I'm trying to switch to the cb running with the wr and I'm pointing how I want to run with the cb which is up. It switches to the safety that's above the wr and I blow coverage all together. I'm headed to practice for awhile now

This,guy can't help you. Strafe doesn't make up for the rest of the defense with down syndrome. Like he said, it's college football, you're going to miss a tackle 9 times out of 10. So you got a 10% chance of making the tackle according to him

Not gonna lie, no hate on how you and others play the game, but needing to user a linebacker and cover receivers way down field is disgusting and shows just how poor EA is at making defense at least decent in their games. Linebacker usering has been the meta in EA games for at least a decade and it’s just not football
