I'm so lost right now, hopefully this video helps me, I recently got my son on feeding therapy, but it hasn't helped so far, he is so skinny, he wont eat anything, and I'm worried sick, its so hard being a mama, let alone having kids with autism/disabilities.

Girl, I feel you, my daughter, lost weight she is so skinny now. She used to love spaghetti, and now she hates it. Then she was into corn dogs for about 3 months, and now she doesn't like it. Also, she would eat 9 chicken nuggets, and now she only eats 3 and is into only french fries. She gravitate more to eating sweets food. The good thing is that she loves fruits. However, I want her to eat more protein. I went on KZbin to get ideas. I hope it helps. You're not alone. It's a struggle, but we will get through it.❤😊

Thank you fr the video! I noticed when my son touches his food, he trusts it more, but still his menu is getting more and more restricted. My hope is that once we start ABA, it might improve.

Sadly, the practice of eating every two hours does indeed "establish a hunger routine." It can lead to insulin resistance. Therefore, eating every two hours is a risky practice. Defined meal times without snacks in between is more commonly recommended.

My little brother is such a foodie just like me ! Which is a problem because he always wants to eat his favorite snacks and he eats way to fast and it’s so hard to show him to eat slow because he doesn’t understand. I’m still patient tho and always try to explain to him to eat slower

My son will not eat any solids. All food has to be blended eg fruit. Weetabix and yogurt only other thing he eats. He is two and paediatrician thinks he’s autistic but can’t confirm but I know he is as he doesn’t talk or make any eye contact.
@@betsyforever32 It sounds like she's talking more about picky or problem eaters. Eating is quite complicated, imagine a piece of toast and what actually goes into eating that. Imagine a food going down the wrong way and how scary that is even if you have no issues. I went to a feeding workshop for a few weeks and we got handed paper bags and they asked us, you have no idea what is in it, will you eat it? In other words, never sneak food onto their plates. Don't trick them, know what they like and go with that! NEVER hide food.
