Yes it would work as an S8 is the same car and uses the exact same mmi version as the car in the video

yes cd changer is also retained if you have a mmi 2g high.

@@mr12volt Thank you for the Answer. One more question: A german eBay Seller wrote that Huawei Phones do not support the P2000. I use a Huawei P30 Pro, new Version with 256gb. The last Huawei-Phone which supports full Google-Services. Is this right, that i can not use the P2000 in my A8 with the Huawei P30 Pro...? Is there a list which gives the information about supported or not supported Phones...?

its not possible to install glovebox if module will be mounted on top of air vent.
