I'm going the Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 very soon. Won't be able to tell you when though. I put out Piano videos and Aviation videos. Not trying to self promote here because FlyingWithBigErn won't want others to self promote. I been a subscriber since I saw his channel in April of 2022 just sveral weeks before I went on the Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700.

As a former-B-52G Aircraft Commander then as a T-38A Instructor Pilot, if you’ll permit my two cents on getting into the ANG or AFRES. Timing plays a role. I tried getting into an AFRES C-141B associate squadron for almost two years at McChord in Tacoma. Also had a respected Loadmaster at AFRES at Charleston, SC get me a meeting with the Sqdn/CC. Both went nowhere. It all comes down to who you know and timing. Congratulations on the left seat!

My local ANG unit, Pease in NH, wasn't "hiring" and the recruiter never got back to me, so now I'm working on a Air Force Reserve slot. Hopefully to fly C-5s.

Very interesting, from being outside the States it is hard to get my head around guard/reserve concept. Good luck with your ETOP’s course (we call it EDTO now)…..hopefully they don’t turn it into a science with lots of witchcraft like we do 😂

Great as always, but 30fps is recommended for videos that don't involve "gaming" or "slo mo" Videos run smoother, no lag or glitch, especially on lower end PCs

If a Guard unit turns away a pilot applicant just because someone may not "like" his/her personality, that's illegal discrimination and not inclusive. Just select the best qualified and don't expect new members to conform to the personalities of others already in the unit. People need to learn how to respect and tolerate the differences in others. Diversity is a good thing.
