How to keep the suspension of the scooter in pristine state?
@pravinsingh2913 ай бұрын
But this battery pack is made with multiple cells, not like phone's single cell battery. Hence, if we will charge until 80% then there may be chance that some cells will not change properly. It can lead to battery degradation sooner

Yes, if you charge at Ather grids fast charging your battery charger get low in no time.

For 20-80-20 rule you mentioned. Athers BMS is smart enough that it follows this rule. Usable battery capacity is always kept lower than full capacity so even if we charge 100% it's effectively 80%

Go easy on the throttle Maintain the recommended tyre pressure Don't sudden brake These are some tips I found in the forum as well. A lot of guys are getting range close to 100 kms. Use Ride mode if we usually drive at 50 Kmph. If it's 60 Kmph use Sport mode. Driving at 50 Kmph in eco mode will be pushing the motor to its limits. So choose the mode carefully. Also, check for the red halo. Do all these and you will get a range close to the certified (116 Kms) 😀 Also, we can use a throttle grip for cruise control. Thank me later 👍🏻

Is it normal for charger to NOT unlock when you want to disconnect the charger from the bike? Please suggest if it's a problem or a safety feature? Well, the problem with my Gen 3 is that the charger gets locked properly everytime I connect it and lock the bike but never unlocks once I want to remove it from charging. I unlock the bike but the charger is still locked and everytime I have to manually unlock it by pulling a pin behind front tyre.

@PITECH_072 жыл бұрын
Depends on the number of kilometers you have driven, usually there should not be a considerable range drop until you go upto 30k to 40k kms.

I compared the charging cycles for the battery that’s similar to any phone’s battery. please note that i did not compare the physical making and structure of the batteries. :)
@udayprakka2426 Жыл бұрын
@@PITECH_07 No, am not talking about that either, sorry if I didn't convey my thoughts properly, all am saying is they way of charging and discharging of an ev is totally different from a phone's battery. The tech and hardware in an ev battery system is more sophisticated than a phone which increases the battery's life significantly.
@BrijrajJadeja007 Жыл бұрын
@@udayprakka2426you're right but not completely, Ather's battery cells are Li Ion which exactly behave like a phone's battery unlike Nexon EV or other cars which use lithium IRON Phosphorus which is quite different and has much more longevity than Ather's Li-Ion, yes BMS is there and ofcourse it will hopefully last 3 times than a Phone's battery but that's it.
